4' 1" Lacewing™ Traditional 3 Tier Greenhouse Staging

A little difficult to put together with the small nuts but a very good product when assembled

Loved it at first, even though it was a fiddly build. Looked so much stronger and better than our cheaper staging and was got as a gift for my husband for special birthday - kids clubbed together to pay for it. So imagine our disappointment when just three months on, it buckled under the weight. Is now propped in place by bricks. No longer looks great.If you think we overloaded it - wrong. Went in a brand new greenhouse built at the height of summer, so late was too hot to actually grow much at all in the greenhouse. Had a few pots on. But nothing like the load we'd expect it routinely to bear.Cheapo awful ones were loaded down and still going strong.This? A big disappointment.

My new greenhouse needed sturdy staging shelves at an affordable price, and after much research, these were the only product I could find which seemed to fit the bill. And I have not been disappointed.My new 12x8ft greenhouse was in need of staging shelves. Most of the shelves out there seem to be 2 tier, which does not make good use of the space. And those which are three tier seem to be plastic. I needed something which could handle storage underneath and on the bottom shelf, seedling trays on the second tier (not light when filled with compost and are well watered), and growing & fruiting plants on the top shelf (again, not light).I ordered two of these as I needed about 8ft of shelving alongside my potting bench, and these fit to a tee. They were a little bit fiddly to assemble, but after a few ah-ha moments, I managed to put them up in about 2hrs each. (Lots of nuts and bolts and if you have a socket driver set, then this helps immensely!).They are a perfect fit, in terms of both length and height. The top shelf is just below where the walls of the greenhouse start to angle in. This still gives plenty of room for growing flowers and plants on top, while enabling the lower shelves to be used for seedling trays and storage. We have chilli plants on top at the moment and there should be plenty of room for them to grow and fruit.I am very please with my purchase and would highly recommend these for anyone looking for staging shelving for their greenhouse.

The shelves seem made of sturdy metal, nicely coated but I hadn't realised it was self assembly. Every single piece of the unit must by put together using a nut and bolt at each end. The bolts are tiny an there isn't much room to get your fingers around each one. The instructions indicate that the nuts should be hand tightened but there's absolutely no way everything will be tight enough without using a tool of some sort. I have just spent an hour trying to fix on the slats of one shelf only to have them all slip out again so I will have to start from scratch. This is possible, but VERY fiddly. Probably it will be okay when it's all sorted but if you decide to buy this item just be prepared for a time-consusming assembly job.

Just what was needed for new lightweight greenhouse. Bit tricky to assemble but sturdy enough once the screw principle was mastered. Instructions not very accurate with some miscounting of quantities but pictures helped.

Amazon attitude could not care less once purchased they not interested with any problems .It is lying in bits while I sorce replacement bolts and nuts , very poor quality, and the back up customerservice from Amazon does not exist and prior to the most recent problems with Amazon i used to be a very regular customer somethign clearly Amazon could not care less about .

perfect, a really good size with ample space for lots of plants. a very strong structure and a very good price for the quality

Very poor design - 96 bolts to put it together! I made this a week after taking less than 45 minutes to put up metal garage shelving 2m high with just a rubber mallet. The instructions are a joke and the finished product looks and feels much less than the money paid. Poor design, poor build, poor product.
