Chemical smell
Quality was good, the rug was darker than expected but it has a horrible strong smell!! There is a very strong chemical smell that we can't get rid of! I put the rug in my daughters room- and by chance I decided to go back up at night and check to make sure the smell had settled. It did not! I had to wake her up, open the windows and have the fan on high. We then put the rug outside for 3-5 days and it still stinks! Thankfully I did get a refund, but now not sure if I should just trash the rug.

If you're looking for a modern Farmhouse rug look no further
This rug is gorgeous, however you will need something to hold it down such as the tape that they offer, for the edges, or a pad to hold it down to the ground because it will slip and slide if you're going to use it on your hardwood floors. The pile on this rug is very very nice, the pattern is very modern farmhouse.
