Good night's sleep!
We read all the reviews on this mattress and decided to take a chance and order online for a very good price. Unfortunately, we ordered over the Easter weekend, so the delivery took a little longer than that advertised, but this is in no way the fault of the supplier. Having slept on this mattress for a few days, we noticed that we no longer suffered from aches and pains in the morning, ahhh bliss!! However, we also noticed that after only a week there were definite depressions in the mattress where we slept, which caused us a little concern. We turned the mattress and I immediately contacted Happy Beds who requested some photographs, which I duly submitted. These photos were with the base sheets on and I was asked to submit further photos without the sheets. No problem - this time though the "depressions" were not quite so visible because of the sewn pockets of the mattress, but managed to indicate the depressions with the help of a spirit level. I was asked to contact Happy Beds if I hadn't heard in approximately 1 week. I contacted Happy Beds after about 10 days, and whilst initially there appeared to be some confusion, the reply was immediate, "we will exchange your mattress" for you. The communication following this stage, appeared to be a bit hit and miss, but we did receive a replacement mattress approximately 1 week ago. Unfortunately, after about a week, I can report there are already slight "depressions" in the mattress where we sleep but have resolved that maybe "you get what you pay for" and the description does say "This mattress inherently seeks to contour to the body shape of any person resting on them." This may be what is happening! At the end of the day, the mattress IS really comfortable and we have had the best sleep since receiving it. This good value for money for what it is and Happy Beds were also very helpful.

Great mattress, good quality, good price
The daughter bought this double mattress to go onto a slatted bedframe. This is an orthopaedic type so is more suited to a divan type frame for full firmness. If in weeks/months to come she's not convinced I've advised her to place a piece of mdf under the mattress to increase it's firmness! It is a lovely mattress. Quite thick and definitely very well sprung in my opinion. The stitching anywhere on the mattress is great quality as is the entire build of it.She says she's very happy with it and is sleeping well/comfortable. She reports that hers is definitely firm enough for her and her fella when he stays over.At this time of writing the review stats read170 - four and five star20 - one, two and three starNot bad at all in my book!Recommended.Update 28th Oct 2013. . .I've bought the 3ft single version of this mattress to go onto a slatted bedframe for my son after my daughter bought the double back in July and is very happy with it.Measuring -6ft 3ins long3ft wide10 ins deepThis is an orthopaedic type so is more suited to a 'divan' type frame for 'full' firmness. If in weeks/months to come my son is not convinced it's okay I've advised him to place a piece of mdf under the mattress to increase it's firmness as it is going onto a slatted frame and will not be fully as firm as it could be!It's a nice mattress. Quite thick and definitely very well sprung in my opinion and what I would call firm. The stitching anywhere on the mattress is great quality as is the entire build of it. There are carry handles and air vents on the sides.A nice mattress. Recommended.

Bouncy rather than firm, but still excellent for the money
Ordered and delivered very quickly without fuss by an extremely helpful chap. These are quite thick mattresses, and indeed are firmer than average but are not the 'solid' type of hotel mattress you might be expecting. They have a bounce to them which some might find disconcerting but I quite like. Although we've had them a while they're for a house we have't yet moved into so I can't give a sleepability rating, but the early signs are good. Like others I have them on a slatted bed, and other reviewers have stated a divan base is better, I also have two singles which are actually on the floor though and can't really detect a difference in feel.Recommended, but I'm sure there are better ones out there.

3 year review....
Had this mattress for just over 3 years & we are really happy with it. We are heavier than the average couple & still no dips. Comfortable, firm & good quality. Would recommend!

Brutal!
Bought this mattress last week and haven't had a good night's sleep since!I would describe the mattress as brutal rather than 'firm'.I had expected it to be firm with springs that would last, but with a softer filling so that I could relax into the mattress (that would allow it to contour to the body's shape - as described in manufacturer's blurb), but have found it to be solid. It reminds me of sleeping on my floor!I know it isn't an expensive mattress compared to some, but it is a lot of money for me. Sadly, in this case, I don't think you even get what you pay for.**It is now ten days since I first slept on this mattress and I have developed a problem with lower-back pain. The mattress has no give in it whatsoever and so does not support the body's natural shape. I would advise you NOT to buy this product. In addition, the delivery was by a single driver/delivery man, so I had to help carry it up to my third floor flat. Not good news for the ladies out there!Overall, a waste of £130 on a terribly uncomfortable mattress and a waste of of £10 on poor delivery service.***Happy Beds' solution to this problem has been to offer me a mattress topper to me IF I agree to change this to a positive review for them; you can see what you are getting with this organisation.
