I purchased this to use with a backup generator to power my home in the event of a power failure. The cord is extremely heavy duty and the connectors fit tightly. At first, I thought it wouldn’t work but called customer service. A very nice woman told me it would work and urged me to push harder. I put on my “big boy pants” and it went into place. For safety reasons it has to fit tightly. Thank you Reliance Controls!

Seems good, heavy duty generator cord. I'm returning this being that the connection to the generator does not fit for me. I need a straight instead of right angle.

Exactly what I needed. Very heavy duty and gauge. Connectors are very sturdy and maintains flexibility. Perfect fit into the wall connector that goes to my transfer switch.

The power cord was well made it didn’t fit the house connection.

The item that is pictured is not what you will receive. The item does work but I wish the cord was as pictured in the listing. The cord has more of a plastic covering than a rubber one as pictured, plus the end that plugs into the generator is not straight but a 90 degree and the end that plugs into the house box does not have the locater pin as shown in the listing. There are cords like the one I received that are cheaper in price but I purchased this one thinking I was going to get what was pictured in the listing. I will keep it since it does work but not happy that they can't post a picture of the actual cord that you will be receiving.

This Reliance PC 5020 power cord (50 amp) for my generator was exactly as described and worked well with my generator. I would highly recommend it...and probably anything from Reliance.

When I opened the box I was stunned and disappointed. This cable is NOT the one in the photo. It looks like something from a Circus act. It is VERY stiff and hard to handle. It did not fit my Reliance PB50 inlet box. The inlet plug is so huge and the cable so inflexible that it was ripping my inlet box off the wall as I tried to plug it in. It is so stiff I doubt It could be used in cold temperatures because the cable covering is some kind of stiff plastic instead of the RUBBER covered Reliance cord. The OLD STYLE Reliance cord is much more flexible and the connectors do not require a Herculean effort to plug in and do not put such a huge strain on the inlet Box. Pure Junk. Do not buy!!

Received cord with right angle 14-50. The photo shows straight connector. The part that plugs into the reliance controls inlet on the house also is different than what photo shows and does not insert smoothly. The contacts on the cord are poor quality and not straight. Have to wrestle the cable to plug it in. Disappointed in Reliance Controls with this cord. Not a good quality product. The inlet is top notch however.
