One of my favorite purchases!
I love this. It serves as a trainer for my hybrid bike in the winter and a place to park the bike in the summer. It's easy to set up and works great as a trainer. I love being able to get my bike in and out within seconds. The Wahoo app works well. It's a great size - doesn't weigh much or take up too much space. The build quality is excellent. It's fairly quiet too. I can really work up a sweat using it as a trainer and I get to be comfortable using my regular bike. I use a carbon fiber bike, so it works well with this one.

Unique trainer that's perfect for some people, but not for everyone
This is my second Wahoo trainer. I used to have a Kickr Gen 2 with 11sp Shimano cassette. But then we added more bikes to our collection - our stable now includes a bike with SRAM 12spd AXS, 11spd Shimano, and eventually a used 8spd Tiagra bike for my kids. The ROLLR allows me to very easily swap bikes - literally a few seconds. So who is this for?1) If you have multiple bikes with incompatible cassettes, so you can't use a wheel-off trainer.2) If the bike you intend to use has a power meter (pedal or crank) - I only have power meter on 1 bike, but the "dumb trainer" mode is plenty fine for my kids to get a workout on their bikes if they want.3) If you don't want to clamp anything to you rear though axel4) If you don't mind a bit of a lag between change in incline and responsiveness (a few second delay between when I start a climb and then feel the resistance increase)5) You don't intend to do a lot of sprint training6) You don't love the friction and tire wear of a traditional wheel-on trainer (the only thing holding the rear tire down is your body weight, just like real life). My guess is your tires will wear on this just as much as they do outdoors.Who is this not for?1) If power accuracy/resistance REALLY matters for your training2) If you do a lot of training under load (sprints). This does fine during seated climbs, but it bounces a bit during out-of-saddle efforts.3) If you don't own any bikes with a Power Meter. What I like about it:1) The "road feel" - the front wheel is gently clamped in place (on the tire, not the rim). The rear tire is free to track left/right a bit which feels nice and realistic2) Using the SAME power meter for indoor and outdoor efforts.3) How amazingly easy it is to put the bike on and take it off.4) It's really quiet - the loudest noise is the sound of your drivetrain and shifting. Some of this depends on your tires - with brand new tires, there was a lot of tire squeal, but once I rode outside a few times, that sound went away. So, overall, this is the right trainer for me and my family. As I read on another review, "unless you know you want a Kickr Rollr, you probably don't want a Kickr Rollr". It's a very specific indoor trainer for a very specific audience. It has a lot of features that make it perfect for me, but which would be deal breakers for most (like the need to supply your own power meter).

Excellent roller, very stable
Very stable and love that I don’t have to remove a wheel. Very easy to switch between bikes. Does not estimate rpm well (its virtual not actual) and will need to buy extra kit for that. Pros outweigh the cons, but should be priced lower since you need additional kit.

Love it - easiest setup ever
Easiest bike setup ever. For me, ease of use it critical if I wanted to consistently bike everyday + have the option to ride outside in seconds. I don't need to unmount skewers, clamps or non of that.Assembly took me about 10 minutes (only 2 pieces to connect) & mounting the bike 10s.Now I'm biking in the early morning without worrying about the weather or crazy drivers. Hitting my fitness goals, getting the bike ride in feels good.I have my brother using the setup too, and it's as easy just riding your bike like normal.I'm sure there might be better options that might give you a bit more efficiency (I haven't had problems) but for me being consistent, saving time and mental energy is better than a 1-5% better solution that that is a pain to setup.Totally worth it!My background:I run (short, long, ultras), bike (triathalon training) and weight lift.

Great, not perfect….
Having been ordered not to ride outdoors by my doctors due to fall fears, I needed a trainer. I used a standard trainer previously and hated it. So, I figured I’d get a roller this time. I chose the Rollr based on reviews and reputation. I wanted something very easy to set up. I love it with one exception. It would be perfect if it had smart tech or a switch, wired or not, that would allow the rollers to spin freely and simulate “coasting” when one stops pedaling…

Wahoo Rollr
Excellent piece of equipment .I’ve used trainers and rollers for 50 years as a bad weather backupI’m 75 and this is no more noisy than other trainers . I use Apple Watch to monitor heart rate and do not use the ac adapter for a power meter and it works fine . Very close to old school rollers .Recommend this product
