One pair of tweezers is straight and is 5.5 inches long while the other pair has an angled tip and is 5.25 inches long. Both are very sturdy and made from stainless steel (although I do not know which grade since it does not state it on the packaging or the ad). The set of angled tweezers have a criss-cross design for a secure grip during use. These tweezers' stated use is for applying artificial eyelashes (not the purpose I intend to use them for); however, since the tips are needle thin and sharp, I would advise extreme caution for use near the eye since accidents can happen no matter how careful you are. I am considering filing the tip down a bit for safety reasons and to make them more suitable for general use. Other than that, these tweezers are very nice and useful for many purposes.

I have been using the same nailcare tools for maybe 25 or more years. I am not a professional, so they only get used as needed, perhaps once/week for the trimmers, a bit less for the scissors (a bit specialized), and even less for the cuticle tools and a variety of tweezers are an “as-needed” important items and yet rarely needed. Which also demonstrates the durability of some of these tools as well as some value in investing in quality. But I don’t know what I am missing, and certainly these have deteriorated over time. I have simply decided it is time to update and freshen this kit. These precision tweezers are part of that update. Tweezers don’t get much use, but you need a variety and these precision point tweezers (both straight and curved tip) are part of my new kit. Not sure why tweezers are in my nailcare kit as these are stray hair removal (admittedly taming the unibrow is more scissor maintenance since I am older)? For things like splinter removal, etc. I use a flat tip pair. Anyway the curved tip tweezers have a nice texture on the handle that provides “grip” although the straight tip tweezers have a smooth handle that is a bit slippery. They are very precision point for very fine use.

Love the color however it’s not very sturdy, felt very flimsy.
