Great little tool!
I bought this a few days before I had to replace a leaky 40gal water heater. The installation went smoothly. Once all the water connections were made and tested, I hooked up the gas line using a new flex hose. I used yellow teflon on the connection to the supply line and the water heater control valve. Good tight connections so should be no leaks right? Wrong. I turned my new tool to high sensitivity and it went off near the supply line. I couldn't smell anything but the tool picked it up. Un-did the connections and reconnected using plumber's dope instead fo teflon. Boom. No leak. Detector silent! This tool is easy to use. I tested my stove connections and my propane tank connections. All good. Note: I have not tested it in the bathroom. LOL.

Brilliant Safety Item, I wish I had had one years ago. I can now check all my Propanne bottles for leaking valves when they are delivered!
