Did not include any form of instructions. Very disappointing as I was excited to start brewing but with no instructions I'm clueless!!

I purchased this for my dad and he was excited to get started. It was for xmas so I was pleased it came so quickly. I would definitely recommend and I will be looking for more from this company.

This product introduced my husband and I to brewing beer, and we succeeded easily by following the simple directions. We decided to add hops to secondary fermentation instead of adding to the mash to avoid bitter tastes, although this is completely up to choice. We also did not sparge to avoid extracting tannin complexes excessively, but this decreased yield. The flavor was amazingly full-bodied and potent. I added ethneogens at various stages--some immediately when putting the brew into secondary fermentation, some after 5 days, and some after 10 days. Blue lotus was nice, and definitely not overpowering. It adds to the effect of alcohol by making the high feel well-rounded, happy, and relaxed. The blue lotus flowers and stamens turned the color somewhat yellow. Lastly, I added agave to secondary fermentation after 3 or 5 days, and again when bottling the beer. It is my opinion that the agave increased alcohol content past 5%, because our beer feels stronger than many store-bought beers. The agave also suitably carbonated the beer to mimic carbonation found in store-bought beers. The beer did not taste sugary-sweet, and it definitely did not taste bitter or bad. Brewing beer with the 'special' steps we made has brought an ancient tradition into our lives that will forever be apart of us, and pursued by my family throughout the years.
