Works greaty
I bought this to shade the boys in the dugout from the later summer sun. Worked great. Used it to shade the the puddling pool which worked amazing as well. Also worked great as a privacy screen to keep mosey neighbors from ogling us on our back porch.

Sun shade solution and great for outdoor
I bought this for summer hiking and camping. Very light weight and easy to carry around in our car and backpack. It’s also versatile in functions and set up and can fit well with many situations. We plan to use it to get shade in sunny days and have an extra layer during raining days.

Follow the instruction
Bought this for spring outdoor activities. I tested in my yard, the installation is straightforward. The kits come with everything you would need to make it work. All you need is following the instruction guidance.

Super!
Great quality and value. Not ultra-light in any way. Bought to expand my living area, mainly. Works well with hammock too.

Versatile tarp
I got this tarp to be used as a "bridge" between my large tent and my canopy, essentially doubling my campsite space under cover. In my state, you never know when an afternoon rain may hit.But I also like the idea of having this tarp to shade my smaller tent on hot days so I can have the rainfly off of my tent to keep it cooler but still protect it from the elements. Now, I am trying to figure out a configuration where I can use it on the interior of my car to block light and have privacy while "car camping".

Gets the job done
I intend on using this camping tarp for hammock camping as it fits the requirements I am looking for. It is both lightweight and durable and repelled water from a garden hose well so it should be able to withstand adequate rain fall. The anchoring line and spikes are made well although I am not sure if they are a metal alloy or aluminum. The 10x10 size gives e enough area to cover my hammock and backpack safe from the elements.

We love it! This is the tarp you've been looking for!
This tarp is fantastic. First the tarp itself has tie-outs everywhere. The tie-outs are loops that are sewn in and reinforced. Loops are far superior to grommets. Grommets tend to tear out while loops are much stronger. Loops are the way to go and this tarp has many of them. The tie-out loops are located at all 4 corners, down the center, and around the perimeter. All these loops make many different setup configurations simple. All the seams are seam taped. The tent stakes that come with it are light weight aluminum as are the tensioners. That is another big win. Steel would be an unnecessary additional weight. The cord that comes with it is not paracord which is another win for us. Paracord stretches too much. The lengths of the cordage are 4 pieces at 10 feet; 2 pieces at 14 feet, and 1 piece at 27.5 feet. The color is a very discreet OD green color. Many companies will make an OD green tent, tarp, backpack, etc. and then put fluorescent orange zipper pulls and tie-outs on it. This tarp got it right. A natural muted color with natural muted loops. The tie-out loops are gray. The logo is white but you could easily color this in if its a big deal to you. The stakes and tensioners are red, but we probably won't be using the tensioners and the stakes are mostly in the ground unseen, or are easily made in the field. This tarp was tested with a hose to see if it was waterproof. The material is waterproof and all of the seams were dry except one had a small bit of moisture come through. It appears that some thread was through the seam tape and was wicking moisture in. I'm not sure how thread is on the outside of the seam tape but this is an easy fix with a dab of seam sealer. I'm not taking any stars off for this minor defect because it is a simple defect with a simple fix, and it has so many good aspects to it like multiple reinforced loops, great color, and it feels like it will be very durable. This is a good tarp at a good price. I don't think you will regret buying this. We love this tarp and are considering buying a second. I’ve included pics with a tape measure to show where the tie-outs along the perimeter are located. Here are the weights of the various components:Tarp only: 1.9lb /868gstakes: 0.11lb /50gropes: 0.26lb /118gtensioners and clips: 1oz /29g
