Adore Semi Permanent Hair Color, 056 Cajun Spice, 4 Fl Oz (2 Pack)

4/26 update - this color has been reformulated and has completely different ingredients. It still works fine for my daughter but it may not for you. Just be aware. My teen daughter has been dying her very long hair for years and we only use Adore products. They do not smell, do not dry out her hair and last a reasonable amount of time even though she does not heat set it, she just lets it sit for 30 minutes then rises out. She likes to make custom colors and the Adore colors have all mixed well. Be warned though, it stains everything it touches. My bathroom floor looks like a crime scene from numerous red coloring events.

Is pretty red but with a golden cast vesas orange. Really pretty color.

My hair was previously lightened and recently colored a dark blonde/light brown color with a tinge of copper. I wanted the red/orange tones to be more vibrant, so I purchased cajun spice. I mixed it with conditioner and only used about half a bottle to do all my hair that's about mid-back length (again, this was mixed with conditioner). The result was a very pretty and vibrant copper that isn't too orange or too red. The color also took evenly to all of my hair, which is something most colors from other brands I've tried have not achieved. As a side note, this will absolutely stain everything it touches. Bar Keeper's Friend + a Scrub Daddy got it off my sink and floor pretty easily, though (just be careful with glossy, coated surfaces!)

I didn't lighten my hair before use, but my outgrown highlights took the dye very well. In the future, I would tone it down with a little bit of a browner shade. Somehow I pulled off dying my whole head with one bottle, but I would recommend getting two bottles if you have thick or long hair. It dried my hair out quite a bit so maybe also treat yourself to a deep conditioning mask afterwards. Check out my pictures for a before/after.

I tried the Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Copper Brown (076) and I’m obsessed with the result! 😍 The color is a warm coppery-brown that looks rich, natural, and super shiny. It gives the perfect blend of red + brown without being too bright. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and contains no ammonia or peroxide, so it didn’t damage my hair at all. It was very easy to apply, the smell is soft, and my hair felt moisturized and silky after rinsing. I bought this to help hide my natural medium brown roots and freshen up the red. It took to my hair that already had box dye, but didn’t really take to my roots despite me leaving it on them much longer than the rest of my hair. Not super disappointed as the effect on the rest of my hair was nice, but it did not do anything to my untouched roots.

Devo a malincuore dare 2 stelle perché credevo tanto in queste tinte dato l’hype su varie piattaforme appaiono come colori forti e pigmentati ma purtroppo su di me non hanno attecchito, forse avrò sbagliato qualcosa io ma sulle punte già decolorate e color rame da precedenti maschere si vede a malapena mentre sulla base (biondo cenere) è rimansto il mio colore naturale se non qualche riflesso. Ho mischiato Cajun spice e French Conjac perchè il mio goal era un ramato non troppo arancione. Peccato davvero perchè avevo aspettative molto alte
