Great travel packs, but room for quality control improvement.
Purchased 2 of these for my trip to key largo. The units function as described, but had some QC issues. One of the primary compression strap clips was sewn on backwards from factory. This eventually broke the buckle clip, because it could not get grip on the strap. This kept the whole pack from compressing as far as it could. Kinda the whole point of the setup. I had to use the supplied emergency kit and sew the extra clip in place after I got to a hotel. (it is nice that they include a repair kit, but it shouldn't be used to repair factory issues)The second gripe was the compartment on the wetsuit area was connected by 2 zippers and a strap. This strap failed before leaving my house. (not a deal breaker, just zip them separately) This shouldn't happen however.Third gripe was the zipper on the turtle pack. (the upper pack in the picture) The zipper handle came off. This was partly because the zipper when fully closed was not matched up correctly. This caused the bag to jam closed and not open easily. Awesome when you need to get to your things quickly. They have an unconditional warranty. I have contacted them. They took a while to respond, but did. I have not sent the packs in for repair yet.All in all, I love the idea, and feel these packs are a winner. If they just checked the packs more thoroughly before leaving they would be even better. You don't want unexpected surprises in the airport. (its stressfull enough)Things I packed in my setup.Compartment 1: Full sized size Bare 3mm xl wetsuit, dive boots, dive gloves, snorkle,Compartment 2: Oceanic V-16 finsCompartment 3: Aeris Biojack BC (full size)Turtle pack: My primary and secondary regulator/ dive computerI removed the outer portion for my clothes and just checked that kind of stuff.I had to use the supplied bag to gate check after the airline filled up spots.

The idea sounds good, but the bag doesn't get the job done
The idea sounds good, but the bag doesn't get the job done. After practicing a couple times was able to do a fair job of packing gear into it, but still lumpy, too long and not worth the money. Especially now that the destination bag is no longer included, if you need to gate check it you're going to need to buy another bag to put it in. Not sure about the quality control on these things either since the one I received had the material on the flap for the BC compartment start coming loose from the stitching after very light use. I really like the concept and had high hopes for this bag since I like doing carry on, but it's back to the drawing board for a better solution.

The Thing Actually Works!
This thing shows up at dive shows like OxyClean on late night television. Basically, it's a compression holder for a full set of warm weather dive gear and the clothing and stuff that would accompany an airborne dive trip. You strip off the top compartment (Turtle Sack), unclip the clothing bag (Spider Sack) and unroll it to find three discrete chambers for holding folded dive gear and an amazing amount of straps for lashing them into as small a space as the universe will allow. Backpack straps are provided so you can wear it onto an airplane and the whole deal fits into a standard overhead luggage rack. The organization part made my inner gear freak happy. The roll out part made me think that my next TSA check wasn't going to look in the end like my Drill Instructor had just tossed my footlocker. I bought it.When I got it, I actually studied the videos (4) and was amazed to find that I mostly could get what they got into the bag in the bag. I say MOSTLY because my beloved Zeagle Ranger BCD defied the best efforts of both myself and the local Zeagle dealer to fold up in such a way as to make the system work. I could get it in ok, but it bulged the rolled up bag so badly that the backpack system didn't work. Lighter travel BCDs didn't have this problem. Bottom Line - with about 4 hours of training in packing the Dive Caddy, I got a full warm weather kit installed in it just like they said I would. This looks like just the thing if you travel by air to your dive sites. I give it about an 85% rating. (NOTE: If you're a tech diver or a serious gear head DON'T buy this, but for an average diver, it's great.
