Great for combination skin, leaves no residue
I’m using this item for the second night, so if anything changes I’ll edit the review accordingly.Some background: I have combination skin, oily t-zone except the end of my nose which has a tendency to get dry. I get occasional bumps and blemishes, especially on my cheeks and forehead.My facial routine consists of purpose cleanser to remove makeup, Acure brightening scrub 2-3 times a week, and an olay daily facial wipe each night. I then use The Ordinary glycolic acid toning solution followed by Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel. This combination seems to work best for keeping my face happy— which is difficult, since any change in cosmetics/skin care tends to make my face very unbalanced (aka bumpy and blemished.)All that being said, this cream actually worked really well with my skin. Although I use the word ‘cream’ only due to the fact that the product is named as such. It’s actually a gel-like consistency. It applies easily, and felt sorta sticky for a minute or two, but absorbed quickly so that wasn’t enough to throw me off. It smells nice, slightly minty but it’s a very soft scent so it’s not overpowering.When I woke up this morning after using the cream, I was pretty shocked to find that my face wasn’t oily in the slightest. Even if I use no moisturizer I typically have some oil, especially on the sides of my nose and the center of my forehead. I usually rinse my face with more purpose cleanser and I’m good. With this I didn’t have to! I applied some NYX BB cream and it actually lasted all day at the office without looking overly-greasy. Furthermore, my skin didn’t seem dry— and I’m nursing a sunburn right now that’s just beginning to peel, so that’s no small task.So far, I really like this cream a LOT. My skin has looked great all day, and still does after removing my makeup. Tonight I’m trying a little bit mixed in with the Clinique gel, and I’m hoping I’ll get good results again tomorrow morning.So far so good! As of right now, I would definitely recommend this product!

Good cream/gel
I know this is called a cream, but its black gel and it smells fantastic! I typically use it before bed after I apply my serums. It feels light and gives my face a dewy glow. I haven't tried it during the day because I prefer a matte look. As a night cream, this one works great.
