I am really quite disapointed with this suspender belt. It could have been great value but for one thing. The suspenders have been incorrectly assembled leaving a loose edge which the manufacturer should have sewn down.Normally the manufacturer will make the clasps by sewing the loose edge in a loop around the bar at the back of the suspender adjuster so that the adjuster is fixed to the elastic by a hoop. The elastic is then threaded through the hoop on the suspender clasp which is then folded back to make another larger hoop and then back through the adjuster. This then leaves the other loose edge which can then be sewn onto the body of the suspender belt. The suspenders are thus adjustable and fixed to the belt and nothing can fall off the suspender straps. This hasn't been done with this belt so that the adjuster is used to hold the elastic in a hoop. If the adjuster is loosened then both it and the suspender clasp are free to fall off the elastic leaving the elastic as a strip attached to the belt and then just dangling.The above is particularly dissapointing as otherwise the suspender belt would have been well made, correct size, good material and a nice retro design. I'm particularly frustrated now as I am going to either have to struggle like mad to sew the straps as they should have been - much easier to do before sewing to the belt which is why manufacturers normally make the straps before sewing to the belt - or cut the elastic with enough to make a small hoop assemble and sew the straps as they should have been made and then fit hooks so that the suspender straps are detachable and adjustaable style suspender straps. I'm thinking that this is probably the best option but it is a bit of a hastle, a small amount of extra expense and to be candid, I should not need to do this as the manufacturer should have constructed the belt correctly from the start. It almost like buying a car and being told that one would have to remove the steering wheel from a wheel fitting and re fit it on the steering column. If they had not made this basic error I would have given 5***** for sure. As things are its 2.5. to 3 stars. And but for the fact that I otherwise like the belt I would have slung it back at the retailer demanding a full refund including postage both ways.

I like the style more comfortable than skimpy suspender belts.As others have said the adjustable suspenders themselves are way too long if you are under 5ft and the silver adjusting clasps are not very grippy. I'll cut and re-stich to fit me.Still worth it for my comfort.
