I have 2 of these lights and I LOVE them. I have a business designing machine embroidery patters and I need light over my machines. These are perfect. There are 5 light levels, I leave on the brightest. It’s a long stipe of light just where I need it. Because they are adjustable it makes it super easy to get the light just where I need it. I got the first light over 2 yrs ago and 2nd last December and both have worked great without a single problem. I highly recommend.

I have searched for and bought so many different kinds of lights for my sewing machine station. None of them have been satisfactory until this light. There are two important properties I need. Brightness and flexibility. First Brightness: I am 80 and need a lot of light where the needle is stitching. Yes there is a sewing machine light that turns on when the machine is running but even though it gets hot enough to burn skin, it is frustratingly dim. This desk light has 4 color temperature settings from warm to cold controlled by one button and 4 brightness levels controlled by another button so 16 different choices in all. These are regulated by lightly touched buttons on the lowest arm and the highest brightness out shines any other light I have tried. AND there is no flicker like many LEDs. So many lights have claimed amazing brightness only to be completely useless. Flexibility: A sewing machine is a very challenging lighting problem since the needle (where the work is happening) is hidden under the mass of the machine. The light has to be mounted on the right side of the machine so it doesn't block the movement of fabric. The right side of the machine is also solid and won't let any light pass through! Ideally it has to be located between the sewer and the machine so the sewer does not throw a shadow. This desk light offers EXTREME flexibility with 4 joints which all articulate in multiple ways but once the arms are set where I want the angles do not slip. The light might look very awkward in its placement on my table (and please excuse the mess!) but the outermost arm is throwing light exactly where I need it. The fabric can easily move underneath it. The other two arms are lighting up the overall table nicely. It is very well made and the clamp keeps the light steady even with such a long reach. I love this light.

Recommendation: Yes — good for general desk use, but not for those needing very intense lighting.

Excellent product. Easy to set up and use. Lightweight but sturdy. Great light output, with many options to adjust brightness, color of light, and so on. Highly recommended.
