Unbeatable at this price
I'm a 15st chap with many years of running across different terrain under my belt. I've had these shoes for a week and for the price, I cannot imagine getting better shoes for multi terrain activity. I've ran several miles in these already across smooth wet asphalt, wet moorland, uneven rocky paths, up and down hill off road. They provide good cushioning and reassuring support on uneven surfaces, and traction on wet surfaces is more than acceptable. The tread is well spaced and reasonably deep resulting in almost zero slip on anything except deep mud. They are comfortable and light. I'm a size 12 and the size 12 fits perfectly. If you're looking for a multi purpose running shoe to wear on your average weather day, these are perfect. I wouldn't advise them for very wet and muddy off road surfaces - you'd be best to get your Innov8s for that - but as a general multi surface shoe, they're very good. 4 stars for durability as I can't grade that properly after one week, but so far they seem very good and well made.

actually waterproof and comfortable
Great! I'm a postman and purchased these as I walk anything from 8 to 12 miles everyday, I was looking for actual waterproof walking shoes/ trainers and these are perfect. They fit perfectly and are comfortable, they didn't need much breaking in. They have a good sturdy grip on the sole and because they are waterproof and splash proof, they don't end up smelling of old rain and socks ! I've had them 2 months now and still going strong..... Will but again...... recommended to a fellow postie who also bought a pair and is equally impressed.

Don't be put off by the low price
You might think that if you want a good hardwearing pair of running shoes you need to invest lots. Not the case. I have used these shoes for both running and work (Trades). they've got sandy, muddy, wet, salty and have really taken an everyday over exposed battering and they still work and appear great. They have taken an absolute hammering in the last 7 weeks, worn 14 hours a day everyday dealing with mud, strimming, ocean water, peat bogs, cement, plaster, barbed wire and still got loads of grip. That's approximately 1.8 years worth of running an hour a day everyday (I understand that you would take more steps whilst running but you wouldn't usually be exposed to abrasive materials on top of the shoes such as splattering of wet concrete). Great all rounder shoes Highly recommend.

Excellent! I would buy again (£35 - 40 ish)
Good price.Good gripSeem to be waterproof (ish) ...caveat: I'm not a great fan of waterproof off road trainers. 'Proper' off road running means (at least) puddles + that is water up to your ankles. These would be good for dampish farm track/footpath type runsSome might find them heavy.I am 11.5 ish - these are 12 and are snug.Update 29/12/18Changed review to 5* from 4*Been up and down, off road wet and hilly conditions. The grip is superb. I am pleasantly surprised by the waterproof properties of this inexpensive shoe: if I don't step into puddles my feet stay surprisingly dry!I didn't think I would ever say this but "well done Sports Direct dot com (UK's number 1)!

Karrimor isn't what it used to be
Received these shoes on Saturday, worn once on Monday - 9,227 footsteps later they are burst on the front right shoe. This brand over the last 10 years has deteriorated substantially. These shoes are not shower, nor waterproof. Sports Direct have the audacity to charge nearly £5.00 for a delivery fee and promote their products (historically) as being on sale price. This instance quotes nearly double the sold price to the customer. After doing research on this shoe, it appears that it can be gotten for £30 at normal RRP and not £60 as advertised by them.9,227 footsteps (under 3 miles) and these are bust that equates to around £10 per mile on a little over an hours walk. This is not the first instance of this brand failing on me. I would think this is due to a once Iconic British brand now being snuffled up by a certain now owner of the brand and using cheaper, low quality materials for minimum expenditure for maximum profit. Will be returning.

Great trainer ruined by atrocious update
My original pair of these were fantastic as soon as I put them on it was as if they were already worn in, and more like slippers than trainers.Sadly, the build has been updated and utterly ruined.Been breaking these in since delivery, and very very unhappy with them, won't be buying another pair.Narrow- the only pair of shoes/ trainers ever, that squeeze my toes as if in a vice.Heavy- actually feel more like walking boots than trainers!!Stiff - total screw up with the sole, what a jokeHot - reduced the mesh area and thicker material, shocking for all but the coldest weather.Basically AVOID!

Could have been 5* but let down by the soles.
Comfortable straight out of the box. Look good and a reasonable price. BUT, while they are good for their intended purpose, the soles are LETHAL on wet pavements, hence only three stars.

Great but slightly tight
The sizing is a bit weird. I’ve had Karrimor size 12s for years and all of them were of a comfortably roomy fit. Not these though. They seem a tiny bit too small.I NEARLY sent them back but they are only a little tight. They are very well made, were delivered in good condition and they look good. I just hope I can stretch them out just a little bit.
