I was initially disappointed when I saw the dents and damage on the rods of this window cleaning kit. However I understand that is not the seller’s problem with such a difficult to wrap item. It’s down to the courier (Amazon) to handle the item with care. It was wrapped in black shrink wrap type material which was relatively easy to remove. So I decided not to reject and return it as I could see the kit’s performance was likely unaffected. Now, I should say that my upstairs windows haven’t been cleaned (on the outside) for about eight years!!! So I was dubious. I ordered some Unger liquid to help the situation (a mere capful in a washing up bowl of hot water). And I got to it. I removed the blade and washed the windows (it reached the second floor windows no problem) with the cloth part, then attached the blade and went over them again. Now to be honest the blade isn’t great but it removed most of the water. From that height and distance it’s impossible to be precise. I was extremely happy with the results though there were some streak marks left behind. The next day I went over them again very quickly with the cloth doused in vinegar water and the windows are now gleaming. I tossed the cloth in with my washing and it came out great. Therefore and obviously I must highly recommend this kit. It’s so easy to use, even for a weak lightweight like myself. Brilliant.

This extends enough to reach upstairs windows but is a little flimsy when fully extended so it’s hard to wash the window well but does a fair enough job. I found wrapping a duster around it meant I could ‘polish’ the window after cleaning to get rid of and residue that had been left behind.

I used this item on very dirty windows at a height I couldn't reach the top. The parts I did reach left the windows streaky after using the squidgy. The lower windows passed the wifes streaky test. Good value for money, ease of use and for me, ask a taller neighbour for the highest windows

Why did you choose this product over others?: Not like videos/pictures. Can’t use on upstairs windows. Pole isn’t good quality enough

I wouldnt recommend, the cleaning end of it falls off, it's not stable. Left my glass really streaky.

Great product great value for money. I managed to clean all my first floor windows. Would highly recommend.

Was pleased with the cleaning results. found the squeegee a bit hard to use on the upstairs windows. found just using clean water and the sponge did a good job. The cost was as almost as much as one clean with a window cleaner so it pays for itself almost immediately. Hadn’t cleaned windows for a few months so I am sure if I do them on a more regular basis it will be a quick job.
