Just what my old knees needed, works great.
Simple, ten minute installation. Comes with two gaskets, one goes between drain and riser and one between riser and toilet. Also comes with two sets of closet bolts, one long set and a shorter set, and nuts (4). Works with out any issues for a Dometic 300 toilet just fine.

The Thedford 2 1/2 inch riser
I just installed the Thetford riser in my no boundaries camper. I had no trouble at all installing it. I was lucky and did not have to add to my waterline. It was very easy to install a pushed on one side and tightened the nut then pushed on the other side and tighten the other nut, it fits solid

Made my wife happy
Great product. Installed one in a previous rv. Still makes for a more comfortable height. Wish rv manufacturer installed it at the factory.

Riser install
Seat height is perfect. I will say unless your water line is got enough slack, you will have to extend it. I've seen people say 15 minutes. Sure if no extension is needed. Also not so easy cutting out the cut out. But overall it will be nice 👍

Shipped quickly took 15 to 20 minutes to install very easy. Sits rock steady and the extra 2 1/2" height is great !

Sturdy, fit well, and great product
We are in our 60's and joints not what they used to be so we thought we should replace the toilet in our camper to a higher one when we had to replace our camper floor. Checking prices for new toilets were pretty high and there was nothing wrong with ours except it is pretty old. I found this riser on Amazon, which was must less of a price compared to dealers, and we installed it in no time (like others mentioned need new longer water lines or extensions). It does take someone to sit on the toilet while the other person tightens it up. It is fantastic and great investment to have a higher toilet in your camper. Sealed great with no leaks, is sturdy, and fit well with our old Thetford toilet and actually looks as if it is all one unit. I highly recommend this riser if you need or want a taller camper toilet! Happy Camper so far!

Has the manufacturer actually tried to install one of these ?
You get two gaskets, one for the bottom of the riser to the mounting flange and the other for the bottom of your toilet to the riser. They are way to thick, more than necessary. Trying to tightened the nuts to compress the gaskets the toilet would still wobble, So I continued to tighten still having wobble. Ended up breaking the mounting flange. Now what to do ! I bought a 5/16 inch coarse thread X 6 inch long hanger bolt. Piloted a hole for the hanger bolt where the flange was broken and screwed it in 1 1/2 inches leaving 4 1/2 inches above the floor. There is a 6 inch center to center spread between the bolts. Took a kitchen electric craving knife and very carefully cut one of the gaskets in half thickness wise. Fit that to the bottom of the riser. Dry fitted that and seemed good. Tried the same thing with the toilet to the riser, still way to much gasket. So I measured the bottom of the toilet where it fits into the riser. It’s 3 3/4 inches on the outside. Then measured the inside of the riser where the toilet fits into the riser, 4 inches on the inside, 1/8th of an inch radius difference. So I took one of the pieces of gasket I’d cut off and trimmed that to fit. Finally got it all back together and it fits tight with no wobble. Haven’t hooked up water yet and tested it. I just can’t believe that anyone could possibly get this together with both gaskets as they are. I’ll update if I have any water leaks or seepage. UPDATE; So far no leakage, but this thing is 15 1/2 inches square. In our very small RV bathroom it makes it even harder to get around to the shower. If I had it to do over I would just go ahead and buy the whole toilet, the high profile model.
