Brilliant! Really literally brilliant!
The media could not be loaded. I was not expecting this to be anywhere near as good as it is! The display covers the whole ceiling and walls (if you want it to- you can change where it points) The pictures of kids in the details, being amazed are no exaggeration- I was too!Comes with usb lead which needs to be plugged in all the time (for portability I have used mine with a portable charger) it doesn’t have a plug but most people have lots of them these days. It has a stand which you fit the astronaut’s feet in and an accurate instruction booklet. You don’t need to connect this to the app or Wi-Fi to use it but it’s so much better if you do. The instructions take you through connecting to the app really easily. They don’t however tell you how to use the app (after you connect the astronaut to it) but I think that’s because the app could change. Looks like you could control a load of things in your house with the app. However I had quite good fun playing with it discovering all the different settings. The important thing I would say is to open the app before you turn on the astronaut so they can connect. You can have loads of different settings, different scenes, how long you want it on for and set it to music. I plan to use this for a disco at a venue where there are no lights but will have it on at home too. I’m sure kids would love it but you would need to make sure they don’t look in the laser as it’s very strong. This is great value for money. I love it!

Nice
The media could not be loaded. It arrived in perfect condition, despite the packaging not having any type of protection. It's a really cool lamp and the app allows you to customize the intensity of the lights, rotation speed and the colors you want, and it also has several pre-defined options. The head is magnetic so you can position it however you prefer. The downside is that it doesn't work without the app.

Couldn't get the app to work.
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't get the app to work on my wi-fi as I run at 5GHz not 2.4GHz, and it was keep asking me to try another network. How am I to use another network when my home only uses one network provider? And it won't let me connect using my mobile data. It's the daftest thing ever. Plus it wants wi-fi passwords, email addresses or telephone numbers. All to run a lightshow from a cute looking spaceman? I don't think so. Surely a Bluetooth connection would have been sufficient. There is however a setting to run it without having to connect it to anything (the instructions are on the last page of the booklet). After being in a flashing 'pairing mode' for 3 minutes it will start projecting and you can run a few programmes using the 2 buttons on the rear of the spaceman. They're basic loop programmes though and could get boring. Please bear in mind that this little guy isn't rechargeable, he needs to be plugged in to run. I used a portable power bank to run mine.If they sorted out the app connectability issues and had a few more settings on the back of the spaceman I'd have given him 5 stars.

Does the job
The astronaut figure is charming and nostalgic, instantly transporting me back to my childhood days of stargazing. The projector's base is also weighted and stable, ensuring that it doesn't tip over easily. This projector is also equipped with a smart app that allows me to control various settings, including the colour of the stars, the speed of the rotation, and the timer. This is a great feature, as it allows me to customize the projector to my exact preference.

Looks very cool
This astronaut projector looks really cool. You can position the head to point where you want easily which is cool. It's USB powered, and works fine if you plug it into a power bank. You don't need the app to use it, but if you don't you have to wait three minutes of it flashing in a slightly stressful way before you can use the controls on the back. These controls are limited in comparison to the app but they work fine. Installing the app... Well, it's another random app on your phone. You don't have to register to use it (there is a skip button) but you do have to put your WiFi details in. The apps fine, but to be honest having used it I think I'd prefer a remote, or even just the extra button or two it would need on the rear.Three actual projection is quite cool, but the transitions sometimes seem to jolt a bit rather than blend smoothly (which they do most of the time). I've seen similar projectors which don't seem to repeat quite the way this one does too, so I was hoping this one would be a little better actually then it isThe stars are also just a static grid which I think ruins the effect a little, would be nice if they were randomised a bit but I suppose there's some technical reason as to why they are not.So, all in all its a cool little device but could be improved. I think pressing a button on device should cancel the WiFi seek, a couple of extra buttons to control the features on the back would be great and a little improvement on the display itself and you'd have a real winner
