Phone Tripod, 86" Tall Tripod for iPhone with Flexible Gooseneck & Remote

This is a great tripod and has been very useful for recording videos and taking photos. It's lightweight enough to move around easily but still feels sturdy when set up. I like that it extends tall and offers a lot of flexibility for different angles. The phone holder keeps my device secure, and the remote makes it easy to start recording or take pictures without having to touch my phone. Overall, this is a versatile tripod that works well for content creation, video calls, or everyday photography.

I ordered this so I could use it to take photos for reviews, get good angles for videos, etc. I'm not an influencer or anything like that, I just need to occasionally take product photos and such, and this works well. The parts are easy to screw together, and it comes with a storage bag to keep everything together. The camera mount is sturdy and holds my phone securely. The base is quite sturdy but does sometimes get a little stuck when trying to put it away, so that's a little annoying. You have to be careful because you could easily pinch your fingers if you're not paying attention. The gooseneck attachment can be manipulated fairly easily and stays in place fairly well once it's positioned. The camera remote was really easy to connect and works well. Overall, I think this could be very useful for a variety of people and I would absolutely recommend it.

I’ve been using this 86" phone tripod for a little while now, and overall it’s a solid option with a few trade-offs. On the positive side, the height is a big advantage. Being able to extend it up to 86 inches makes it great for recording standing videos, group shots, or content where you need a higher angle. The flexible gooseneck is also really useful—it lets you fine-tune the angle without constantly adjusting the legs. The included remote is a nice touch too, especially for selfies or recording without having to touch your phone. Portability is another plus. That said, there are a few downsides. When fully extended, the tripod can feel a bit unstable, especially on uneven surfaces or outdoors with wind. You may need to be careful or weigh it down for better stability. The gooseneck, while flexible, can sometimes sag slightly if your phone is heavier. Also, the overall build, while decent for the price, doesn’t feel super heavy-duty. The design of this tripod is brilliant in theory, but it fails in execution when fully extended. It is lightweight and portable, but the base is far too light and flimsy to support the stand at higher elevations. • Stability Issues: While it works OK at shorter heights (under 48 inches), it becomes extremely wobbly and tips over easily when extended even 2 feet short of its 86" height. I have to weigh the base down just to keep it from falling over, and it nearly broke my phone on the first use. • Gooseneck Performance: The flexible gooseneck is great for quickly getting into awkward angles, but it lacks the strength to hold the phone completely still. Any slight movement results in shaky, unusable footage—even with camera stabilization turned on. If you are using the gooseneck and extending out the tripod becomes exponentially less stable, and even using straps or weighing down the base, doesn't full help the situation, as this puts all of the strain on the gooseneck, which is too flimsy to hold the video steady. What is even worse is the slow droop. I have found even when I weigh it down and try to stabilize it as much as possible, the gooseneck will still slowly droop down when extended out. Imagine you spend all of that time framing your shot to get it perfect. then you go and adjust your lights, you do one final check, ok camera is good, lights are good, how does my beard look? (it looks awesome btw). you hit record and you nail it on the first take....Then you go back and check the footage and notice the camera is slowly drooping a fraction of an inch every minute. By the end of the video you're shot has drooped out of frame, and now your viewers know you're wearing a suit jacket and tighty whities (maybe that's just me?). There is enough to worry about when filming content, I need the camera to point where I point it and it needs to stay there until I move it. Verdict: This tripod is too lightweight and flimsy to be truly stable. If you only need a 36-to-48-inch stand, its OK. However, if you actually need overhead or high-angle shots at taller extensions, it is a deal-breaker. I would gladly buy a heavier-duty version of this exact design, but this model just isn't sturdy enough for tall setups.

The stand is light an strong, phoneholder is awsome. A drawback is the app, it doesn't work with newer android versions. The remote only works for photo, you can't use it as start/stop when filming.

Ik gebruik deze tripod al sinds augustus 2023 voor als ik op vakantie ga en om binnen en buiten selfies te maken. De tripod is compact en licht van gewicht. Je kunt het gemakkelijk in je tas stoppen en overal mee naar toe nemen. Ik merk wel dat als ik mijn Sony ZV1 kantel om portret foto's te maken, de camera scheef gaat staan. Dat komt niet door de tripod zelf, maar door de mount. Ik gok dat dit met een telefoon minder of niet het geval zal zijn. Ik heb nu een ballhead mount gekocht die ik dondedag ontvang. Ik ben benieuwd. Na bijna 2 jaar gebruik is hij nog in goede staat en ik heb ook nog een reserve in huis liggen.
