Nice router, terrible Draytek USA support
I have been using Draytek routers for over 8 years now, and they are really good. This is a business-class VPN firewall router. It is meant to be set up by a pro. When I set these up, I always set up a dial-in VPN so that I can support the customer remotely. It works great. That said, I have a few issues:When you get this router, and BEFORE you set up the configuration, be sure to install the latest firmware located at draytek.com. The older firmware had bugs in it and wouldn't set up properly. Once you do this, everything works fine.Draytek USA (ABP) support is terrible. They want priority support contracts before they will talk to you. If you have a question that can be answered overnight, an email to Draytek Global Site (Taiwan) is the way to go. They are really helpful. They will even help you with strange network setups.Other than that, it just runs, which is about all you can say about anything.

Total Overly Complicated Crap
I really tried to like this router, so much so that I’ve bought 3 - office home etc. But I can’t get them to work. If you pull out one of the Ethernet cables yes it fails over - but that’s not a real life scenario is it? I’ve tried wan failover I’ve tried threshold failover nada, it’s a piece of junk. My IT person at the office hasn’t fared any better, just doesn’t work.

Used to be a great router
I have had a couple of DrayTeks in the past and have had great luck with the routers. This one, not so much. I've had intermittent problems and it finally just died. This router is about 6-8 months old. The things that were attractive on this was the past experience (positive) and the features, dual WAN failover, easy management, and GB routing. This model has been a huge disappointment. I would consider another router brand.
