J&K Jerky Ghost Pepper Beef Jerky - Spicy American-Made Slab Jerky for the Bold Snacker - 7oz Big Bag of Jerky

Like many of you, I consider myself a "jerky" afficianado who has tried so many different brands over the years as well as homemade. With J&K, I finally found one that will keep me from buying the others.IMO, the taste with this one is absolute perfection. Tender, spicy, sweet, chewy, and not over salted like many other brands. It's hot enough to keep you from eating the whole bag in one day, yet so good that you'll keep wanting more after your first piece (after your mouth has recovered from the heat).I was mostly eating Jack Links Sweet and hot jerky (which is still my second fav) until I decided to try J&K.Only downside is cost. They are more expensive than the others per oz. If you can get past the higher price, I believe you'll also love it.

Not the spiciest jerky- but it definitely tastes good and has an ok amount of heat. I’m an insane person though and like my food so hot I almost don’t want to eat it

One of my coworkers brought in a bag of this jerky to share. I knew he liked spicy stuff, so I assumed it was another one of his ghost pepper/carolina reaper ventures. I have honestly not had much luck trying "spicy" stuff you can buy in the store, because it just doesn't seem to get that spicy to me. Anyway, I would say my spice tolerance is an "E-40" on the "black pepper is spicy" to "Chili Klaus" scale. I took a piece of this jerky and was greeted with a surprising amount of spice and actual good flavor. It has a slightly sweet taste that balances out the spiciness in a good way. It is in no way near an actual ghost pepper spice, I would say it has about a habenero level of spice. Still good, either way.Fast forward an hour, I had consumed three or four pieces on an empty stomach (dumb). I started sweating and became a little light headed and had to walk around my building in 30 degree weather to calm myself. I thought I was just a wuss, so because of the great flavor I ended up sending my brother a bag since I know he likes more spice than me.He recieved it and then an hour later text-cursed me from the bathroom citing intenstinal distress and a burning ring of fire.Would buy again!

This is very good jerky! Super moist, great chew and quite spicy. I eat Jalapenos like they're bell peppers. This stuff has a nice bite.

This is definitely for people who like really spicy stuff. Also full of flavor

The flavor was good, wasn't very hot at all. About the same heat as siracha sauce. Texture was different, some soft some tuff.All in all, I ate the whole bag in one sitting.

Soft to chew not dry great taste with some sweet and heat.A blend of pineapple and ghost pepper would make a great combination.

It's hot with nice flavor
