good tool, fairly hard work
I already had one of their pole saws - with 3 six-foot pole sections. One section has the saw mechanism permanently attached. So that left me 2 six-foot sections to use with the pruner head. It is a little harder to manuver the pruner in a tree than the saw - getting the cutting part over a particular branch. Small limbs are easy. Stuff over a half inch requires a substantial pull on the cord. But it works - better than the flimsy pole pruner/saw I had in the past. So, a good sturdy tool, but fairly hard work using it. The result has been worth the effort.

Strong cutters. This one will be hard to break.
This is professional level gear. I bought this because my cheap ones broke. These are heavy. They fit my Notch brand poles perfectly. I'm cutting almost 2" branches with ease. It comes with enough rope to run 3 poles with it. If you think you want this one.... I'd say buy it!

Too heavy and not easy to work with
I needed a wide mouth pruner and this one is but it is so heavy. It is very well made but the cord that pulls the cutter is so stiff that it would take super strength to pull it. Customer service said it is for arborists and that in time it would be easier to pull. I decided it was not for me and sent it back. If something isn't easier to use from the beginning I am not going to wait until it is. Also because it was a third party shipper I had to pay to return it. The whole situation was not good for me.

Professional lopper wins against branches
I had a fiskars model saw/branch lopper. This Jameson model is much beefier and can handle much bigger branches no problem. The blade is razor sharp. I really like the one roller pole makes it so much easier. Highly recommended by this homeowner

Big jaw for big jobs
Works great. It’s simple, cuts clean, doesn’t get jammed. If you can cut 1.75 inch branches, you are one tough hombre. I was able to snip 1 inch and smaller branches off an ash with no trouble. Used It on a single 6 feet Jameson pole. Using it on two poles becomes too unwieldy.

Strongly built
Not for the frail. This is a nice, tough, sharp pruning head. Since it is a single pull, it takes a good amount of arm power to prune those hardwoods and/or deadwood. The quick change head adds weight to the item.If you remove the sleeve you can mount it directly to a fiberglass pole to reduce the weight.
