Good quality for the money

These are easy to use, but the very concept of the smart plug is extremely niche by nature. Realistically, you can turn on a lamp with them without having to walk over to it, and find the awkwardly placed switch under the lampshade or dangling from a cable somewhere. In order for it to be helpful, the power needs to be on, with a hardware switch so that the device starts working the moment you supply power from the socket.Thus it's useless for a computer, or a microwave which needs commands punched in when it has power to do anything.It's easy to set these up and the app works fine.You can monitor the power consumption of a device through these which can be handy if you're trying to establish where your power is being used in order to cut bills.They're as small as you could hope for, and you can fit them next to each other in an extension lead's sockets with no problems.The price is excellent in the four pack I got.

Pros:I decided to go with these smart plugs while deciding on Alexa, and boy, do they work seamlessly with it. Voice control is so effortless; it's really easy to control my devices without that much of a fuss.Energy monitoring is good. It keeps a record of my energy usage and helps me in taking necessary actions to be on top of my utility bills.The timer functions are perfect for setting up when my appliances turn on and off. It's kind of streamlined my routine and made sure everything runs seamlessly without constant interference.These plugs are small, won't block other outlets, and thus keep my setup clean while allowing for flexible placement.Verdict:Overall, I am very pleased with these smart plugs. Using them with Alexa has been a great decision, and they have meshed seamlessly into my smart home system. I especially like that some of the electronics can be turned on or off at will; this has added so much convenience to my daily routine. Plug them in, turn on the smart life app, and all the rest is almost automatic.Ridiculously easy to install and connect.The size is great and fits to leads with no issues.The price is amazing.Overall, I am extremely happy about those, honestly, I couldn't be happier.I will recommend them to some friends who were asking me about getting some smart plugs since I tested quite a few so far to be honest.

These smart plugs are easy to set up once you have the smart life app installed on your phone or other smart device. All you do is plug them in and then use the app to search for them. Once added, you can name them so you know what is connected to each one. I then linked it to my alexa app, which was quite straightforward. You can then use voice commands to turn it on and off. Back on the smart life app, you can monitor consumption and also set various different timers that are really handy. You can also use the button override on the device itself, which can also be disabled from the app along with the LED on it. Overall, they're really useful and easy to use.

Well so far so good with these! After ordering several different “brands” of smart plug, I finally found some that are small enough to fit in a UK extension strip next to each other. Why it took so long for such a simple thing is beyond me. Only had them a couple of weeks so cannot speak for their longevity at the moment but they were the easiest smart plug to connect I have ever used too. Plugged it in, opened the Smart Life app and they paired right away. Worth their money and will be buying more when I need them.

These smart plugs were fairly simple to set up to work with Alexa via the Smart Life app. You can then use the standard commands of "turn on/off the <device>". Bear in mind this is essentially turning the power on/off at the socket, you can't introduce new functionality to your devices (it's not going to make you tea!!).For just over £6 each, I think they're good value, and the fact that you can monitor your energy usage with them too is icing on the cake.
