Way easier than by hand
I was not fortunate to grow up learning how to make this from a family member. Keep that in mind. I'm sure old-school Nonna's would shun these. 😃After making arancini twice by hand I decided I needed a maker. It helped tremendously. I'm very new to it and I still had problems, but it will get easier with time and practice.

Great tool
I loved this product! All these years it was so hard to make the arancina, but with this device it was really easy to press and all came out really well.

Great
We love the product. I accidentally ordered the smaller one so that was disappointing. We love arancini!

Make certain you choose a good seller - Look for ARANCINOTTO - Truly made in Italy, not China!
This review is for the 80 gram pointed egg shape (Slim a punta). There are larger sizes available, but I wanted this particular shape and size for the perfect appetizer.I conducted a LOT of internet research before choosing this one, and even while awaiting its arrival, was still apprehensive about the quality, not to mention the origin, of the product. I had suspicions that the molds might actually be made in China, but could not seem to get through language barriers with many sellers about which country was stamped on the bottom of the product.Upon arrival, I immediately looked at the bottom to confirm, and sure enough, it was made in Italy! I'm quite pleased that it is made of nice, durable plastic, though of unknown number, I would guess a 5, minimum.Yes, you can make these by hand, but I'm a big fan of kitchen gadgets, and uniformity, so this is a win-win for me.Product comes with a small pamphlet with tips, tricks, and an offer for 50+ additional recipes for submitting a photo of the bottom of the mold to prove authenticity.https://www.amazon.com/Arancinotto-Arancini-Maker-Original-arancini/dp/B01HH6OT9M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8.

Arancini
What I liked about it was very nice quality. But unfortunately, it was too small for what I was looking for. I was looking for a bigger portion.
