PolaroidP3 (Grey) - Portable Bluetooth Speaker, with Internet Radio, 35W Powerfull Sound, 15 Hours Battery Life, USB-C, Dual Stereo Pairing

I was looking for a small portable speaker to listen to music on my deck. I almost went with something uber cheap but decided to spend a little more for this and I’m so glad I did. The sound is really good, I use this speaker all the time now just like while I’m getting ready, while I’m cooking, it has a warm vibrant sound and I like how easily it pairs and it’s easy to use the controls on the speaker or phone. Highly highly recommend this if you want a portable speaker with warm vintage depth

Updated 8/13/23 from my original May 2023 review. Then I gave 4 stars based on the price jumping substantially after my purchase. At that time I had felt that at the increased price there were other better choices that had stood the test of time. As a general statement that may still be true, but after further use of the Polaroid P2 and my enjoyment of the app and 'Polaroid stations', I decided to add the 5th star back in.May 2023: Purchased out of curiosity as I was unaware that Polaroid was still 'around'. I was also surprised to see that they were producing speakers.I knew that the legendary, revolutionary and, unfortunately, defunct Polaroid name had been sold to a new party and that this speaker was not from the company that had built a reputation for quality and innovation over many, many years. I was also curious as to how good this speaker could be at a price point just a bit more than a double sawbuck. I was very pleasantly surprised by the look, construction and sound .. so much so that I purchased another one to check out how 2 linked together would sound. Again surprised .. very good sound that could easily fill a large room. Love the retro look and the simple difference of a volume 'wheel'. I see now that the price has gone up substantially and perhaps at 3.5 sawbucks there are other better choices for speakers that have somewhat stood the test of time for quality and battery life. Anker, Altec and Oontz come to mind from personal experience over the last 5 - 7 years.

I have both the P2 and P3. They pair well together but the P3 is definitely better with more immersive sound and better bass.

Didn't expect much from this medium-sized speaker...from Polaroid nonetheless...but WOAH. I was blown away by the sound, quality of sound, and how loud it gets!Unfortunately the first speaker I got I had to send back because the volume wheel sounded like it had something stuck in it especially when you turned the wheel to the left. I thought maybe the wheel was supposed to have some sort of sound to indicate you were using it but since it didn't do it when you turned it to the right I sent it back. Good thing I did because the wheel isn't supposed to make any noise whichever way you turn it as heard on the replacement unit I got.This speaker gets LOUD and the sound is nice and rich just the way I like it. I prefer songs with more mids and lows because the highs hurt my ears. This speaker (along with my equalizer settings I'm sure) give me what I want in the high/mid/low ranges. I have some speakers that just sound tinny and too-high pitched no matter how you set the equalizer so that's why I mention the rich sound of this speaker. I'm not an audiophile or any type of expert in music, these are just my opinions based on the type of sounds I like from music/speakers.The "retro-look" of the speaker is pretty awesome as well. Back in the day I remember having boomboxes and stereos and the look of this speaker definitely reminds me of them.The controls on the top are easy to navigate - power/play, previous, next, volume wheel. I wasn't sure what the heart and the musical note buttons did but I found out that's because I didn't download the Polaroid music app and that's where you would use them. You don't need to download the Polaroid music app to use the speaker fortunately. All I did was pair the speaker to my phone via Bluetooth and then it'll play whatever from your phone just like any other Bluetooth speaker.It comes with a USB Type-C cable to charge up the speaker. I'm all for this because lots of my stuff uses USB Type-C ports. The bottom of the speaker has a long silicone anti-slip mat attached to it making it easier for it to stay put on smooth surfaces like tables.The little black circle on the front is a lil display that will tell you the volume level, battery/charging status, and it will scroll the song info. It might display other stuff but I didn't notice or read the manual about it.That silver handle is super sturdy feeling and really the whole speaker is heavier and sturdier than I thought it would be. It's a wide handle which makes it easy to pick it up and carry it wherever you need it. There are also little lanyard/strap loop cutouts on either side so you can attach a carry strap (though specifically it says it's compatible with some Polaroid strap I hadn't heard of).Honestly I love this speaker and I would definitely buy it again. Wish it wasn't $190 because I feel like it's a bit overpriced...then again it sounds so great I might just be inclined enough to buy it at full price. I got the black one and at the time I bought it (a month ago?) it was on sale for $161. Today (the day of this review) it is on sale for $131. The other colors have remained at the full price of $190.

The $130 msrp is out of this world! Even at Polaroids mark down of $80, it’s still really steep for the sound quality. If you can snag this for under $50 like I did, it’s worth the looks and the sound is decent. Price drops happen frequently so keep an eye out!

Honestly it's incredible, sounds incredible it's Bluetooth is always responsive and never gives me problems, super easy to use, looks great! My only reason complaints (if you can even call them that lol) is that it doesn't get super loud but that's not to much of a issue for me personally, it's not like I'm throwing a party or anything and the app is pretty bland, was hoping for more options to adjust the speaker and maybe like a streaming service like Amazon music that has the HD versions of music but it's really just a way to listen to pre made music stations and update the speaker so totally not necessary but for it's price it's a absolute steal!

hmm not sure I’d pay $100 for this! It’s really cute though and i’m so happy i was able to buy it on here for $25 and it works perfect. The speaker looks really unique and i love the fun colors. this thing can also get LOUDDD. The analog buttons are a nice touch but unfortunately the like button only works for their radio app, and the app only has 4-5 stations so a little disappointing. Overall if you love the look, get it if it makes you happy! I’m excited to bring it places and it looks nice sitting around the house too :)

Questo articolo l'ho acquistato come Nuovo ed è un regalo, era stato usato un pacco Amazon, ma la scatola originale è usurata/rovinata, l'apparecchio sotto la maniglia presenta graffi nella parte nera in gomma, non sembra un prodotto nuovo, forse "spero" fosse in esposizione. Purtroppo non posso andare all'evento di oggi a mani vuote e non ho avuto fortuna nel cercare l'articolo in un negozio fisico. Lo incarterò senza la copertina colorata, che fa pena.... spero almeno la cassa funzioni🤞
