Finally a removal tool that really works!
Finally a tool that fits into the small space, grips the filter and actually helps removing the tighest stuck filter.

Fits like a glove and a high-quality product!
After purchasing and destroying two previous oil filter wrenches trying to remove the stuck oil filter on my Kawasaki Mule, I purchased the Spurtar adjustable wrench. It fit good and snug on my 2.5" filter and worked great in the cramped work environment of the engine. After a couple of tugs using a 1/2" drive socket on my wrench, it came right off. I would highly recommend this product! Please make sure you read the instructions or watch the video on Amazon, so you understand how to reverse the jaw direction.

Great Investment! 1/2 driver required
I purchased one of these a few years ago and used it multiple times daily for about 2 years, until I switched professions. I gave my old one to my daughter at that time. Not that I've returned to working on cars, this was at the top of my list for reorder. It's so easy to use! It's spring loaded, so all you do is stretch it while putting it on an oil filter. The springs will close, lightly gripping the filter and will stay out on its own. Once you attach a ratchet and begin to turn, it self tightens as you pull. Made of impact socket metal, great quality, compact size, but one size fits all (passenger vehicle oil filters).

Be mindful of the space your filter is in
This oil filter wrench is pretty great the only thing about it is when you’re locking it in place you have to kind of turn and hole the filter wrench so it can clasp on and then you can start loosening the filter. It is kind of difficult to use in tight spaces so make sure there’s some space to possibly fit your hand to lock the wrench in place. It feels good quality, so far the teeth on it are still pristine and it breaks the filters off very easily. Just make sure it’s positioned good because if not when you turn it, the grip won’t be a good fit and it can slip off or strip the filter. Overall it’s alright depending on the space your working with as well as the angle

Great design,
Great heavy built product that should grasp about anything that will fit with in the expandable gripper head. It does both tighten as well as loosen the filter. For the money it is a bargain tool that should be in most all toolboxes.

Too Bulky for my Rav4
Too much bulk for Rav4 2022. I could not get tool a d wrench in small filter space. Never got to use mine. Otherwise it looks good. Give imused similar design snap on tool with no problems in same space.

Although well made, only mediocre performance
I had high hopes for this one. Alas it slips far too easily on the filters. I'll keep it, because it does mostly work if you can grab the clam-shell sides and add your own 'finger-clamping force' to the device, but it's still a mediocre tool. I will try the '3-finger' type wrenk next - it looks less strong, but hopefully will grip better.
