Good shower head and the water softener makes a difference

We do not have particularly hard water but I kept seeing shower heads with the high pressure spray from the front of the head and wanted to try one so I ordered this one. The shower head, filter and hose seem to be good quality and it feels good in the hand. There are several different spray setting from mist to massage. There is the "power clean" setting that shoots a flat spray out of the top of the head for cleaning the walls of the shower. I found that this shower head is easy to install. Just unscrew the current shower head and screw the filter on and then the hose for the shower head. It comes with teflon tape and all of the O-rings needed. Once it was attached we were able to use it without any leaks. HINT: If you have put the head on and have leaks in all of the connections, check to be sure you have used the o-rings and the teflon tape. When we put the filter on the shower arm, it was quite large and brought the head down quite a ways. I was really hoping that it would raise the head because my husband is about 6 ft tall and it needs to be above his head. Our other shower head raises it quite a ways above where the shower arm comes out. This one, due to the length of the filter kept it about where it started in height. The water pressure was impacted quite a bit and the spray coming out of the head wasn't as strong as my current head. I felt that it might have been restricted by the filter so I disconnected the filter and tried just the head on my shower. It still was not as strong as my current head (which looks very similar to this one but lacks the power spray for cleaning). We checked to see if there was a California filter in the unit but couldn't find one. I am not sure what was restricting this head so much but it definitely wasn't as strong as my current one. When used on the power clean mode, it wasn't very strong either. It actually didn't seem as strong as the massage setting although because it was coming out of the front of the head, it was helpful in getting to the other end of our shower which is 6 ft and it is tiled to the ceiling so I wanted one that had a lot of power to reach all of the tile when cleaning and rinsing. This actually didn't have enough power to reach to the opposite wall let alone to the top corners. So, while this didn't really measure up to what I was looking for in my house, I tried it out in my 5th wheel shower. It did come out a ways with the filter attached but the filter was a great addition in the RV because more times than not, campgrounds have hard, mineral water and the filter on this unit really is a good thing. I could really feel the difference in it when in the RV and due to the smaller shower size of my RV, the cleaning spray pressure was not a problem and worked just fine. Overall, this shower head seems to be a good quality shower head and if you have hard water, the filter really does help a lot. I didn't look at the price of the replacement filter but the current price of just under $50 for this head with filter I find it to be quite a bit more pricey than other heads with filters available on Amazon so I deducted a star for that and the fact that in my home shower, it reduced the water pressure pretty substantially. The pressure in the RV is always lower by design and it didn't seem to impact that shower pressure substantially. This shower head was made in China

The hose broke loose after 1 1/2 years. I expected it to last longer.

Love the showerhead but the filter, per the information in the package indicates that it is only a 15 stage filter, so that was disappointing. Everything was easy to install and didn't leak. I like the power wash feature of the showerhead and feel that the variety of settings is very good. I did find the slider to stop the water hard to move. I have to use two hands to get it to slide up and stop the water. This might become easier to use as time goes on, though. Overall I am happy with the showerhead but disappointed the filter was not as advertised.

The product is well-packed with individual plastic bags for the handle and other accessories. The installation is very easy with or without following the guidelines from the user manual. No tool is required for installation and took me less than 10 minutes to finish it. The experience of using the shower head exceeded my expectations. My wife really liked this shower head after she tried it. She specifically told me to give it 5 stars which is not likely to happen often. Firstly, the color of the product matches the faucet color (Brushed Nickel) in our bathroom. It comes with 9 modes of waterflowing. My wife likes the strong but little water flow mode because it can save water while I like it too because I can take a quick shower. We can change to lower pressure with more water flow mode for the children and the elderly. It is softer and makes them feel more comfortable. The pause button on the handle can stop the water flow completely, it makes showering so convenient since it is better than turning on and off the water continuously in order to put the soap and scrub the body. It also has a built-in high-power spray at the front part of the handle that is very good for cleaning the surrounding area in the bathroom. She suggested that if the hose can be one or two feet longer should be better because it is easier to reach every corner of our bathroom, but to me, it is just fine. Regarding the filtration of the water, to be honest, I couldn’t really FEEL there is a difference from the one without the filtration I used before. I tried to taste the water and I could tell the water tasted better, just like those the filtered bottled water I had drank. Overall, both my wife and I like the shower head, it is priced less than $60, and it is even cheaper than the one we were using before but with a better showering experience. Talking about the value for money, the product is well made and has all the features, we will definitely recommend this product to our friends.
