Ozzy Osbourne: The Ultimate Ozzy

Well, I need to admit it, in the beginning when I opened the package it was a surprise to see that the DVD is a copy, or kind of.I thought "what the f..." with this DVD, in a slim case, with a medium quality OZZY pic in the front, inside the case the sleeve appears with a little description of the content and track list.I put it on the DVD player and.... there is a regular menu, only with track list and play all options, so I played it since the beginning and my surprise was that the audio mix is 5.1 not stereo as the techical charateristics described. The images is VHS quality and song after song the anguish of buying this DVD (copy) or whatever disappears.This is really for only hardcore OZZY fans, if you want to see OZZY at his best in the 80's on Ultimate Sin tour you have a real jewel, a treasure. This concert is better Budokan, Japan.Jake E. Lee is underated because OZZY always wanted a Randy with him again (by the way, he found it in Zakk) but Jake is a great guitar player, he demostrated his virtousity in evey song, great guitar solo. Remeber, this guy composed with OZZY songs like Bark at the moon, The Ultimate Sin, Shot in the Dark, Secret Loser, well almost the whole Sin album.What to say about Randy Castillo he was with Zakk the most consistent player in the OZZY's band, he always played great, and the drum solo was one of the best that I ever heard or saw.So if you wanted a high tech DVD with DTS sound, high definition quality image, a lot of extra features, etc go for Budokan in Japan (it sucks) or Live n' Loud, because The Ultimate Ozzy is straight, no fashion, no superb image.

Fantastic era with Jake E Lee! beware tho because it will not play in region 1 players! Thank goodness I bought an all regions DVD player years ago!

Well over all the dvd is good but I can only watch it on my DVD player in my bedroom because it's a region 2 and you can't take the Japanese subtitles off. but I liked it

The Ultimate Ozzy? This concert is Ozzy at his best. Concert from The Ultimate Sin Tour in Kansas City on 4-1-1986. I didn't get to see this tour in Seattle because Ozzy kept cancelling the shows. I did have the VHS copy of this for years. I was happy that this concert was released on DVD, I think it is way over priced and I didn't like the Japanese subtitles. So I sold my copy and bought a bootleg copy of this DVD. There is no copy guard on this DVD so the copy I got was the same quality without the subtitles with a nice looking DVD and a nice looking keep case for $12, not to mention the DVD is region free. Really the best way to go. This is a great concert and you shouldn't have to pay so much to enjoy it. I hope this review helps you decide.

good quality. but does not work on reg dvd players you will need to play it thru your computer because its a import from Japan. or you will need a pal dvd player.

This concert used to be on YouTube and has since been removed. Excellent concert, I paid and it arrived quickly.

The ultimate Ozzy.Auf DVD.Lange danach gesucht.Jetzt erhalten.Hatte ich damals als VHS.Die Bildqualität darf man nicht mit heutigen DVDS/BLURAYS vergleichen.Es ist nichts bearbeitet.Dennoch hat die DVD einen guten Sound und die Bildqualität ist für das Alter sehr gut.Die Nahaufnahmen sind schon sehr klar.Bei den Gesamtaufnahmen der Bühne ist es etwas unscharf.Aber im großen und ganzen,kann man sich das Konzert doch sehr gut anschauen.Ich bin damit sehr zufrieden.Ich liebe diesen Mitschnitt.Von Ozzys 86er The ultimate Sin Album,mit Jake E.Lees zweiter Tour und Randy Castillo on Drums,sowie Phil Sousson am Bass und John Sinclair hinter der Bühne an den Keybords.Tolle Songauswahl,gute Stimmung.Top.Wer auf Ozzy steht,der hat das Teil sowieso. Ansonsten,für alle die,die ihn noch nicht kennen,könnten hiermit sich gut ein Bild von Mr Osbourne live machen.Das einzige was vielleicht den einen,oder anderen stören könnte,ist das alle Songs die Japanische Übersetzung am unteren Bildschirmrand zu sehen ist.Ich finde aber, dass man das gut ignorieren kann,da es halt nicht so groß ist.Ich bin halt froh ,dass Teil endlich zu besitzen.Am Ende noch zu erwähnen.Meine erste DVD kam nicht an.Nach Rücksprache mit dem Verkäufer,gab es eine Ersatzlieferung innerhalb einer Woche.Noch mals danke dafür.So und jetzt seit ihr dran.Kaufen und lauschen.Long live Ozzy.Long live Rock'n'Roll

I cant play this DVD on any of my DVD players when i put it in my play station 3 it said this DVD is the wrong region why would you send me a DVD that cant be played on north american DVD players i dont live in japan
