Happy Beds Atlantis White Finished Solid Pine Wooden Bunk Bed Frame

Despite reading all the positive reviews about this bunk bed I maintained a sceptical optimism when it came to ordering it. My wife and I had researched and visited a number of outlets selling bunks for a good number of months before finally settling on this particular one.The communication between ourselves and Happy Beds was top notch and they kept us informed at every stage as to what was happening and when. The delivery firm used were equally professional and accommodating when it came to delivery arrangements.I had a query for the driver regarding the customer names on the items not matching ours but he gave a good explanation stating that the items were correct, and the issue with the names was just down to the sheer volume of the items they had to retrieve and deliver from the warehouse to customers all over the nation.The Beds took a little longer than the advised 45 minutes to assemble, even for a well seasoned 'handy dad' but the instructions were clear enough. The instructions, whilst minimalist (as seems to be the case with most if not all self-assembly items nowadays); were clear enough and enabled us to get the job done. We found labelling the pieces in pencil to correspond with those on the instructions helped speed things along.Now that they are up, it's as though they always have been and look very good and are most sturdy. The kids love them and the mattresses supplied with the beds are of a high quality and most importantly; are comfortable.I would definitely recommend this bunk.

Bought this bunk bed of the back of the positive reviews on here and it also gets a 5 star from me. The build quality is excellent and the mattresses are surprisingly good as well- it also looks better in real life than it does in the photos! Kids absolutely love it and they look so cosy when they're in! :DOnly niggles were that the instructions could be clearer. For the most part its ok just as long and you dont try rush through it without reading it properly. The one part that really wasnt made clear was that the 2 main beams with extra holes on the inside need to be on the side that the ladder is going so you're able to screw it down. And similarly with the holes for those small vertical pieces that secure the top bunk railings together.After spending hours assembling it- and by a feat of clever engineering, managing to lift one on top of another (by my self!) and screwing countless bed slats+ everything else down: only to then discover there arent any holes in the top bunk for the ladder! >___<'I mean its not too tricky to line up and drill some extra holes but that doesnt stop the heart from sinking a little! But yes a big positive recommendation for the bed but please remember about the holes when putting the frames together!

Now have a house full of bits of wood, 2 small boys and cannot do anything! They look good and the mattresses look comfy! Will update once supplier has responded!I did not get any notice of delivery and it was by chance that someone was home when it arrived!Since the above -the bed company has been very helpful - ensuring I was sent the correct items to be able to construct the bed. The bed is sturdy and quite straightforward to construct- screws for the slats were a bit hard to screw in- I used some of my own.Make sure you gets the two long lengths with the extra holes on the side of the ladder- this isn't clear on the instructions and I missed it - easily rectified with a braddle and drill!Overall pleased that I paid the same as many shops had the bed advertised for sale as- but with 2 comfy mattresses as well.Kids (2 and 3 yr old boys) love them and have slept well! What more could I want :)

My daughter already had these for my grandchildren and so I bought them for my house. Easy to put together and took 2 of us 3-4 hours which was ok. They look lovely. Ok for teenagers and for adults occasionally on the lower bunk although not enough distance between the bunks for constant use as an adult can't sit up straight on the lower bunk. Good sturdy steps. My grandchildren love them and they're really secure. My only niggle would be the plastic screw caps - they don't really work as they don't stay on the screw heads. I might stick them with superglue! Also one of the ends was slightly damaged when I checked the box but as soon as I contacted the seller, they sent the replacement within a few days, no fuss or quibble which was good.

After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and yes am very pleased with my purchase. Took me, a single mum, 3 hours to put together with the aid of two very excited 4 and 5 year-olds! The instructions are fairly straight forward just at first when you open the boxes there seem so many pieces! It was fairly easy though. I would like to comment that you have to put the headers/footers of the bed together too and when I was putting the dowels in to attach the flat piece that goes across each of them I didn't push a couple of the dowels deep enough so that on one header it split the top piece. It's not too detrimental, I managed to use the wood glue to repair the bit broken off, but just make sure you drive the dowels in enough. Overall it is good quality, it has the solid chunky look I was wanting and the kids just love it! Delivery and communication was excellent, only 4 days from being ordered and emails and phone call to confirm delivery. The mattresses too are very comfy and excellent quality. Yes I would highly recommend these bunk beds!
