KA Tanking Slurry 25Kg White

i had 3 x grey 25kg ka tanking / 1 x 25kg ka fillet seal / these 2 ka white tanking that i bought of amazon / 1 x ka sbr and 1 stormdry for the bricks /i had to buy a paddle mixer for my cordless drill-i used these products to waterproof a 6 m x 3m 1960s detached garage that was filling with an inch plus of water all over during heavy rain /this was enough to do 4 coats 1.5m up the wall to 2 sides fillet seal 4 coats /and 3 coats complete coverage on back wall and i did 3 thick as i could layers to the floor with a 6 inch brush and 1 last thin layer with a light broom to get a smooth finish /followed instructions each coat vertical and then horizontal using different colours alternate /dug french drains outside and tanked up to damp course /then applied stormdry to bricks /had a week of rain some thunderstorms with heavy rain since i did the job and no water ingress at all. / no problem for any diy to use this product and it works well -2 layers is manufacturers instructions i thought i might as well use up what i had bought .its hard to see /especially in a garage where you have done and have not done using the grey so using white on top or below makes sure you do not have any holes that water could get through .easy to use waterproofing slurry

Brilliant stuff! Works very well but make sure your walls are wet (as per the instructions) otherwise it sets on contact if brushing on.Mix well using a paddle to a thick emulsion/school custard consistency if using a brush, or slightly thinner if using one of these:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00L906QSA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Wish I'd bought one with an angled hopper or closed lid now but for the price I'm not complaining, 10x easier & faster than brushing.The slurry does go off once mixed, so mix in amounts you can use in 20 minutes or so. With a spray gun that's quite a lot.Rinse the brush and/or mixing bucket between mixes.I used the rinsing water/slurry mix to re-wet the next wall ready for the proper mix, as the wetter the wall the better the slurry binds to it, and it was easier than carrying it out of the cellar.Unless you don't mind wearing it use a tall plasterers bucket for mixing, & if using a gun make sure you have a good mask and overalls that cover your head unless you want to see what you look like with white hair.

This is brilliant stuff , worked a treat on my internal walls. you will need a drill and mixing paddle if you are using a lot of it . Would highly recommend this to anybody . This stuff sets like concrete very quickly and makes a waterproof membrane on your wall. If you get it on your skin wash it off very quickly or it will burn you

Overall fairly decent - but after three coats (of the white) after heavy rain for a day or two, I notice light brown damp patches, so although it's helped the problem, it hasn't quite solved it.

Worked in my single skin garage to stop rising damp. First coat was very difficult to apply, easier thinned a little more. I needed a 3rd coat in some areas and needs to be applied very thick. All in all, very happy to now have a wster tight garage

Followed the mixing instructions and the product was easy to apply with a decent brush and has proved to be a very effective water barrier

After watching some YouTube videos I plucked up the courage to use KA Tanking Slurry - I can now use our damp and frequently puddling garage which has old brickwork on 2 sides which is against 4-5 foot higher ground the other side. I really does work... I did this in September - it's now November and despite one of the wettest autumns ever - not a drop of water came through :-)
