Bottle leaked
Pig oil and sulphur bought to keep the horses mud fever at bay. Unfortunately the bottle leaked in transit so some has been lost (cap wasn’t on properly and there was no seal underneath).

Very impressed with this product
Our miniature Shetland gets really itchy, flaky skin every spring, as he has a thick coat so when the weather starts to get milder he rubs himself until he makes his skin sore. Usually we have to bath him in medicated shampoo to relive the itching and then apply cream, but as the weather can be changeable bathing is not ideal. So after reading other reviews I decided to try the LINCOLN Pig Oil and Sulphur, and it has worked wonders for his skin. I poured the product into an empty spray bottle and sprayed his back and sides with the LINCOLN Pig Oil and Sulphur, and massaged it in using gloves, it made his coat quite greasy, but as he does not wear a rug this was not an issue, and it may have protected his skin as well, I applied the product a couple of times per week and then after about 2-3 weeks gave him a bath and now his skin is all cleared up and he is no longer going crazy with the itching. This is the best his skin has looked in the 13 years we have owned him, so I will certainly keep a supply in the tack room in future! Great product.

Great but not suited to my pony
Used as my pony got mud fever ... While I liked the product and that the mud just slid off his legs after a few weeks he started getting bald patches .... And I did do a patch test first ! So perhaps just not suited to my pony ... So I strongly advise buying a small tub first and do a patch test then if any probs occur you have not spent a fortune on skirting that is not suited to your pony or horse.
