Bicycle Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling Playing Cards, 52 Playing Card Deck, Play Card Games and Tarot Reading Magic

Good Bicycle quality. Same size as the Bicycle Standard deck of playing cards. Glad to add it to my collection of cards, but not at all certain I will be doing readings with it anytime soon. Reason being that it seems to me to have way more than its fair share of unmitigated disaster cards. I counted 12 such cards. There are 20 cards in this deck, in my estimation, which could go good or really bad depending upon their proximity to the Querent card. 18 cards are good/hopeful. The chance of producing an unnecessarily bleak and stressful reading for the Querent seems entirely too great for me to want to read with these cards. Tarot cards are far more nuanced. Glad to have acquired these cards, but truly doubt that I will ever read with them. 5 stars for typically good Bicycle production standards.

I had this deck as a kid. So I had to get it when I saw it! Nice deck to shuffle. Smooth.

They say gypsy they’re pretty cool looking cards and play regular cards with them. I have a bit of fun reading them as a tarot card up to you.

This is a very nice Bicycle quality deck of historic fortune telling cards. Not hard to use to tell fortunes, and a deck you can use for cards games too. Poker deck type deck with extra numbering.

Not sure if they are accurate. I will write a follow up review in time to confirm or deny they work. Otherwise, nice cards. Very waterproof.

The USPCC made several changes to the design with this 2023 release. First, and most disappointing is the backs of the cards. They are now Black and White, where the originals were Purple on White. They improved the size of the card text by removing the small standard card face in the upper left of the card face, Leaving only the Upper Left Number or Letter and the Pip denoting the suit of the card. The text is now larger and easier to read. Some of the illustrations have been reduced in size thus making these murky images even harder to see. The instruction sheet has been removed and a card with a QR code to see the instructions online, which are somewhat incorrect, have poor images of the card spread for readings, and are very brief, not giving much illumination to the Cartomancy process. The USPCC could have done a better job with these. Just another product rushed thru the design process. The cards now have their well-known air-cushion finish where the originals were simply a gloss finish. So there have been a few minor improvements and one large drawback.

What I Like - A very interesting deck that has a lot of history behind it. Being traced back to the beginning of the 1900’s, these fortune telling cards are a historic game. Bicycle has done a good job of making them look good and keeping a metaphysical feel to them. There’s a QR code inside on a card to direct you to the instructions. What I Don’t Like - I’d also like these to come with written instructions inside the box for those who don’t know how to scan a QR code or those without internet or a smart phone. Not a big enough deal to lose a star, just an observation.

Bicycle Playing Cards never disappoint, these cards look great, have very interesting fortune telling designs on them, worth the money, feel reliable & are an interesting alternative to a standard deck.
