Smart Garden Solar Genoa Cascade Oriental Garden Water Feature Fountain

Now into our second year with this and love it so much. Let's face it I was never going to bother installing an electric one so this is a perfect solution, quick and easy to set up. Sure it doesn't work when the sun is behind clouds but gives a very pleasant intermittent background flow to the garden. The solar panel has a nice long lead so you can position the fountain in a more shady spot and it still works (see pic). I made a stupid error when putting it together at first (I didn't push the connector on properly) I rang support and the chap who answered was very responsive and helpful.

Great delivery service. The water feature is easy to assemble and remarkably sturdy. The only down side is it only works in full sunlight so need to be mindful when positioning it, but it really is a lovely addition to our garden

Easy to set up, looks fantastic. Works very well when sun is out. Dropped 1 star only because the solar panel doesn't store power when sun disappears, but I knew that before I purchased it. Would be worth investing in a pump and solar panel that stores sunlight. I'm very happy with it though and found amazon to be the cheapest for this fountain.

Arrived on time ,assembly was easy and straight forward.,placed on a flat surface .. When solar panel received enough sunlight the fountain works well ,just have to remember to keep water topped up occasionally..we like it .

I really liked the look of this product. Initially I was impressed with the function and it settle into its surrounds. Now, here's the rub, it only works when the sun is shining as soon as the sun goes behind a cloud the water stops cascading. So, basically the water feature is just a statue for most of the time. So, just be aware it only works as long as there are no clouds in the sky to block out the sunlight.

I am disappointed with my purchase because I incorrectly assumed the solar panel had rechargeable batteries, which most solar items these days seem to have. To be fair the product info on Amazon states “Operates in sunlight via remote solar panel” so I can’t complain too much although I think it would be clearer if it stated “ONLY" operates in sunlight via remote solar panel. I should have paid attention to the customer reviews, had I done so I would have picked up other customer’s dissatisfaction as they seem to have made the same mistake as me. The fountain is nice to look at when it works BUT unless light levels are high it does not work, so basically useless. I am going to find a rechargeable solar panel and swap out the one supplied, appreciate this will invalidate the guarantee but I’d rather do that then have it sitting around doing nothing because the sunlight isn’t strong enough. I will pay greater attention to both the product description and customer reviews next time to avoid making this expensive mistake again.
