Does the job
Works fine the light up display isn’t very good but that doesn’t bother me personally. With 2 of my kids playing lots of rugby this is a life saver. The UV light built in helps kill off bacteria that help towards the smelly Oder from boots. It does take a long time for delivery though.

does an ok job, folds when storing. But there are so many “cons”, I can’t recommend it.
PROS-seems to do an ok job with wet socks and gloves, we haven’t had rain hard enough lately to get the inside of my shoes or boots wet yet.-folds down nicely for storage-(slightly) extendible arms, to accommodate longer boots (they don’t extend very far though)CONS-there is a permanent sticker on the “control panel” that reads 48C. Why is it there? It’s obviously not a real thermometer, and the listing (and manual) state that this machine 55C-60C “constant temperature”. What an odd thing for them to do.-what do the “fresh rose salt” containers do? And even if they did do something, it’s not possible to add more salt (despite what the photos in the product listing show, I can’t get the lids off these containers, if/when I needed to refill them).-the “purple light” LEDs only emit near the ends of the arms, not all along them, as the product listing implies. I really hope that these _are_ UV, and that would be a useful thing to have, to aid in sterilisation of bacterial and fungi inside my footwear (especially my gym shoes, phew).-unusually poorly written manual, their machine translator was obviously on the lower end.-despite what the manual says, there is no lock to release the arms for rotation. One of my arms was actually stuck down (which is why I looked carefully for such a button), but it finally released, after a cracking sound (I can’t see any broken plastic though).-there is a very odd smell when it is on. Several hours of use hasn’t made it go away.-why do none of the product photos show the AC cord? (it has a long, white, AC cord).-first power setting when you turn it on doesn’t seem to be associated with a timer value (you have to press the power button again to choose the first timer value). Will it say on forever if you don’t move it to a timer value? I’m afraid to try that out.-at £19.99 at the time of this review, I feel that this is far overpriced for what it is (I’m mainly considering quality, here).NOTES-ok, this is an odd product. I really could use something like this, but the effort put into this particular product is so low-end, I’m surprised they even put it on Amazon.MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
