2 years on still great, quiet and good flow power
Bought 2 two years ago to replace pump driven mains showers that were terrible/ noisy. These have never failed, are super quiet, the temp dial works well (sometimes slight delay), powerful enough flow (better than the alleged power showers we had) and look good too 👍

All good
I decided to try another brand of shower having had two Aqualizer electric shower units fail. The Bristan wasn't a brand I was familiar with but the Bristan seemed to tick all the boxes. When I bought the Bristan shower, it was significantly cheaper than other brands with a similar specification. The outer cover is rectangular, making the use of a spirit level very easy. The designer have worked hard to make the water inputs as flexible as possible, releasing one bracket inside the unit allowed a change from left to right hand input; surprisingly the shower unit has a push fit connector and this made fitting the pipe a lot easier (as against the usual compression fitting). (I recently changed the water pipe from within the wall to fixed to the tiled surface so I haven't had experience of fitting using a rear input). The main stumbling block was that I had to reroute the cabling from right to left so I had to remove extra tiling and plaster, thankfully the cabling was still long enough to reach. Removing and replacing the cover with 4 screws was easy and everything fitted easily within the cover. Two people have used the shower so far and it generates loads of hot water. The rotary dial is a bit too sensitive. There is a hot and warm setting so should be able to adapt to summer temperatures when the water flowing in is warmer. There is a large illuminated display on the front cover and whilst the controls are more complicated than the Aqualizers, they were easy to work out; the temperature read out seems way off and a 40 degree reading seemed to be 10 degrees too high, but having the digital display is a nice touch. The unit comes with a full compliment of fittings, shower head etc; there is a shelf for soap etc that I have fitted, it is large and includes two useful hooks underneath .My main concern now is: will the shower the last the course or fail in a few months?

Perfect shower every time.
Very useful temperature display when you turn it on and the water warms up. Much better that the other similar products without this feature. Happy with the flow rate. Perfect shower every time.

Excellent shower
We have been looking for a replacement electric shower since our Aqualisa packed in recently. Having owned 2 in 5 years (they just seem to break outside the warranty period!) I didn't want another Aqualisa.A quick look in Amazon and found this shower.I purchased this shower due to the fact it was £138 (10.5kw) what have I got to lose?Anyway arrived the next day and started to fit.Very easy to install, I had to drill new holes as the holes from the aqualisa didn't line up. I would say in total it took maybe 45min to fit but that was only because I needed to find some new pipe.Having fitted and now used it for 3 days I can say this blows the aqualisa out the water. Pressure is great, by far the best electric shower I've used. Temperature is amazing, holds well at 42-43 degrees even with other taps or toilets flushing. Other reviews saying it fluctuates may have issues with their water pressures. The shower looks great, the LED is sleek so let's hope it lasts.Hopefully the shower will last much longer than the Aqualisa only time will tell.I would have been happy to pay the full RRP it's that good.Edit 8th July 2023Just to confirm over 3 years old now and still works as good as it did when fitted.By now I think I went through 3 Aqualisa ones!

There was a slight fault with my shower, I contacted the after sale service through Amazon, their reply was very quick, they sent a new shower and organized a local fitter. Excellent service and now, the shower works perfect. I recommend it.

Looks good
We have had this shower for a good few months, therefore, perfect time frame for honest review. The shower looks stylish and is lovely, easy to use, very easy to use touch buttons, however, water flow is not as powerful as some of the showers (we had different brand and the water flow was amazingly strong and powerful), CAN CHANGE FROM HOT TO COLD WATER IN AN INSTANCE if water is splashed onto shower panel… when I wash my hair, water can splash onto panel and it will/can change from hot to cold and you will realise when your body is shocked with freezing cold water!!!Has happened far too many times not to mention it!Overall it is a decent shower unit, but, there are better ones for the same price of not less.Would I buy it again - it’s a firm NO due to reactive shower panel buttons, changing water from warm to hot or from hot to freezing by itself…

Good looking shower and made in Britain
Good instructions, with a good selection of fitting options made this simple to fit. Internals have been well thought out to give you enough room to work and move things around so that you do not have to compromise the installation or have pipes on display. Blanking plugs are supplied in the box and wiring up was straightforward. Can handle low flow rates pretty well but will drift a couple of degrees off temperature if the water pressure changes due to someone running a tap, however, the temperature control is a manual dial which is much easier to use and adjust than a pure button-only model. Soft start and shut down extends the life of the shower and is a good feature, have fitted many electric showers over the years and this is my new favorite.
