This product arrives in very nice packaging. I checked underneath and it has the code 2, which I believe is BPA free. I like how they donate a portion of each sale to the Alzheimer's Society.As most people know, D Mannose can be very expensive for frequent UTI sufferers. There are some very misleading companies out there that are selling their D Mannose with the impression that you get 1000mg per tablet for example, when really it's per serving (ie 2 tablets is 1000mg, not per tablet!).I'm yet to try this to test its effectiveness, but I'm blown away by value alone. Each 1g scoop according to the container is 1000mg of D Mannose (250 1g servings). I purchased our tub for £30, was close to buying another packet of D Mannose which had 120 x 1mg doses for £23 (120 1g servings). So as you can see, the value speaks for itself (please don't change it!).The D Mannose on the packaging says that it is derived from corn starch. The expiry is nice and long, just under 2 years from now.Thank you very much!

After many years of persistent UTI I was highly sceptical of this product. My regular antibiotic wasn't working and I was referred to a urologist. He knew I'd tried everything and he suggested D-Mannose. I didn't find it effective against the current infection from which I was suffering but once it was over (yet more antibiotics) I began on a maintenace dose. This was three months ago and so far I am free of infection. It makes my urine slightly cloudy, so at first I believed I had another infection but since there were no other symptoms, and a test was negative, I presume the infection was cured. However, I'd like to know the reason for the cloudiness. Otherwise, very pleased and grateful.

I have been using D’Mannose powder for many years. Before that I had consistent bladder infections and too many doses of antibiotics. Then a friend told me about D’Mannose developed by an Urologist. This product gets into the urinary tract system and attract bacteria that could affect your urinary tract and removes from your system. Superb product. Before using this i was taking antibiotics for bladder infections all the time. Since taking this everyday, i very rarely get an attack, if i do i just increase my dose for a day or two and it goes away very quickly. I feel through my experience of using this super product, i can honestly recommend it.

D Mannose is very important to me, I take it every day to avoid UTIs as I have terrible reactions to anti biotics. If I forget to take it for a few days and develop one I just take extra and within a few hours it clears up so I would be lost without this supplement

You asked me for my views on the product which I am happy to give to help both yourselves and others who are looking for solutions beyond antibiotics. I would appreciate my information being anonomised if you use it. After multiple bladder infections/antibiotics following recovery from abdominal surgery I looked for other solutions. I read the NHS NICE guidelines and read about d-mannose for the first time. Decided to try it. I cannot know for sure if it is d-mannose, all I know and now enjoy is, no more bladder infections!

This is great value and does the same job as the more expensive brands. Great alternative to antibiotics in mild cases.
