I’ve used this for airing up tires and a basketball. I love that it has an accessory power cord so you don’t have to worry about if your battery dies. It works well on car tires. It slows down substantially when you get around 40psi. Not bad for a cheap emergency tool. One other thing, you don’t need a battery to use it either!

I've probably bought 10 tire inflators in my lifetime, most of them turned out to be junk. This one is really a keeper. I have Dewalt 20V tools so I already have/use the 20V rechargeable batteries. I LOVE not having to plug the inflator into an outlet, or a car cigarette lighter, and fight with the cords to each of the tires. It's solid, user friendly and so convenient. A good value, especially if you don't have to go out and buy batteries and a charger.

Finally, I found a compact tire inflator that fits under the site of my third-gen Toyota Tacoma. You can see in the picture, it is a little tight, but it does fit, along with the 12v power cable under the unit.The inflator works great, shuts off when it is told, and doesn't seem to get super hot. So far I've only used to get my truck tires from around 22 to 35 and it only takes 5 minutes or so. That is with a 4ah Dewalt battery.I like that the cable is long enough that the unit can sit on the ground comfortably without strain getting to the valve on the tire, and it wraps around the device nicely for storage. I do wish it came with a place to put the 12v power cable.The light is not great, but will definitely come in handy on a dark night while you fumble with your tire.It's as loud as your average portable air compressor.I would much rather have this one that the $100+ Dewalt equivalent that doesn't have the option of 12v power, and is much bigger.

Bought this for my mountain bike. Works great with Presta valves and quickly inflated my tires. Minus one star for not being accurate, but it was close and not a huge inconvenience.

This little DeWalt battery powered pump arrived today and I topped off all my tires with it right away. After slapping in a DeWalt battery and setting the measurement scale to the PSI and then setting the number of PSI required I went at it.It was so much easier than the compact pump I have been using that has to be plugged into a 12v car outlet and has to be running before connecting it to the valve stem. Its a good strong pump, but it takes some effort to use, so I don't top off my tires as often as I should. With this DeWalt powered pump there is no more having to open windows for the cord and changing outlets to be able to reach all 4 tires on my SUV.All compressor pumps tend to be noisy, but this one is no worse and maybe slightly quieter than other small electric compressors I have used.The user interface is intuitive and easily to use. The lighted display screen was adequate in my garage. I'm not sure how it would do in direct sunlight. The digital readings and the auto shut off are great feature which my old pump doesn't have. This pump shut off at the setting I chose and after taking pressure readings with tire a guage I found it to be accurate too. I was very pleased at how quickly it added 3-4 pounds of pressure to a tire.The hose wraps around the pump for storage, with is nice, and the quick lock valve connector worked well on my valve stems. It seems to be a higher quality metal connector than I have normally encountered on other pumps.The only shortfalls some may find with the pump is that car outlet adaprter has to be stored separately and the light is weak. I don't plan to travel with this pump because my other portable pump is more compact has a nice storage bag. So the adapter storage and light are not factors I would ding this pump for. The ease and convenience of this pump is what I bought it for and it delivers on that.Durability? I don't know yet, but if it fails prematurely I will be back with a review update. It seems sturdy and well made from the outside. Only time will tell how well it's made inside. But right now I'm very happy with this purchase.
