This is a high quality stainless espresso strainer, but the listing is a little tricky. The cup itself is not 2 cups, rather 2 cups is the espresso amount. The strainer itself is tiny, and can hold a little over 1/4 of a cup of liquid. inside lip to inside lip the espresso strainer is about 2-3/8 of an inch wide and has a height of approximately 7/8 of an inch.If one fills this cup with liquid such as water the water will slowly drain to about the halfway point. After that the water will stay in the tiny cup. As, the holes on the bottom are so tiny that there is no longer enough pressure to push water through the micro perforated holes. If one runs their finger along the bottom, or uses some kind of press, water will drain the rest of the way house.Overall, this espresso strainer is probably a perfect espresso strainer, as long as one realizes how small this espresso strainer is. I was intending to multipurpose this espresso strainer for other uses but it’s my fault for not looking closer at the dimensions.

The description said that it’s a backflush blind basket but it’s not. It’s just a regular filter basket. The basket itself is well made stainless steel. So my main advise would be that the seller make their description less confusing. They do sell a backflush basket but the written description is the same for all of them.
