Having decided to put a survallance system in my home i researched a number of systems and put the Lorex system in. The on line reviews of the system did create some hesitancy on my part especially the comments on customer service. Once I got the system installed and began the configuration I had a number of questions. I am extremely satisfied with Lorex customer service. I used the chat contact method and the representative on their side quickly assisted me and provided me the answer to my questions. I am not an expert on survallance systems or networking and each time I had a question the Lorex representative helped me solve the issue I had. The video and sound from the system is excellent.

Camera was easy to install and straight forward. The only downside other than the price is the app. If you need to monitor your office or home at all times remotely I would try another system. It’ll take forever and sometimes not show up on your phone at all. For how expensive this unit was I expected the app to work.

Buyer beware. My review was taken down, I want to simply give buyers an opportunity to do their own homework as this is a very expensive unit. Instead of going through countless issues. Please please please, simply look up "Lorex Technology' on Yelp.com. Here you will see pages and pages of 1 star reviews, not just one or two problematic people complaining, but possibly on a few good reviews in an ocean of horror stories and warnings not to deal with this company. 2018-2014 it does not stop, over and over, terrible reviews that are cautionary. Please do not remove this posting, as people have a right to do their own home work, Amazon does not want me to provide a line to Yelp for you, so you need to type this in yourself to review this company's customer history.
