I picked this up hoping for a budget-friendly alternative to name-brand calamine lotion, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The consistency is smooth, creamy, and easy to apply. Some calamine lotions can be thick, chalky, or difficult to spread evenly, but this one has a nice milky formula that goes on smoothly and dries comfortably. Once dry, it feels lightweight on the skin and doesn’t leave behind excessive flaking or that overly crusty feeling that some similar products can cause. It provided the soothing relief I was looking for while remaining comfortable enough to leave on throughout the day. For a generic store-brand option, the quality is impressive. The formula performs exactly as I hoped it would, and the value for the price is hard to beat. If you’re looking for an affordable calamine lotion that applies well, dries nicely, and gets the job done without spending extra on a name brand, this is an excellent choice. Not exactly the most exciting thing to review, but it’s one of those products that’s nice to have around before you actually need it. I picked this up to keep in the medicine cabinet, and it has worked well for calming irritated, itchy skin. It goes on easily, dries like normal calamine lotion, and helped take the edge off without any surprises. The bottle is a good size, the expiration date is a long way out, and the price was better than what I found locally. Nothing flashy here, just a product that works exactly as expected. Always good to have on hand. Stop that itch!!!!! Gosh darn mosquitos. Lid is a standard flip top, would bag it if transporting via suitcase etc. should be portable tho, on thing is don't put it in a carry on for the plane!! It's 6oz ;)

This is one of the best products I have ever tried. I had incredibly itchy poison ivy and no home remedy that I tried worked at ALL for days. I bought this and within one day of using, it completely dried up my poison ivy. It stopped itching immediately, allowing me to sleep, and it also stayed on very well. It did not rub or flake off once it dried and it was easy to apply. I either used my finger or a q-tip. My posion ivy went from unbareable to almost fully healed within a few days. The only negative is that it smells very bad like old lady perfume.

My baby developed a lot of skin irritation during the hot weather, especially around his stomach and chest. I used this calamine lotion to help soothe the area, and it felt cooling and gentle on his skin. It was easy to apply and dried without feeling greasy. After using it, I noticed that his skin looked calmer and he seemed more comfortable. I’m very happy with how it worked for us and would keep it on hand for minor skin irritation.

Great when you become the main attraction for the mosquitos. My parents use it and I use it now. Stops itching and scratching bites. Dries fast

It’s good and cheap. Works well for mosquito bites and stinging nettle. Very soothing.

I had zero hope that this would do anything for my red itchy rash. I was losing hope that any thing would ever calm it down. I was sick of doctors “guessing” what was going on. So there i was in the middle of the night unable to sleep because of the itching and scratching on amazon ordering snake oil. I am so glad i did. The itching stopped almost immediately when applied. My skin is healing from all the scratching and i am not covered in dry itchy bumps. I like the scent. Although it is pink out of the bottle It dries clear. Very soothing.

I highly recommend this! Still a great value over the years! I bought Benadryl ointment at the same time. My favorite is the calamine lotion for itching.
