Technophobe friendly
I love my Sonnics 1TB SSD. So much so I bought another.Ithas great performance and is easy to use, simply format, plug and play. A full TB of space to fill up. The download speed is fine, it doesn't take forever. It can be formatted different ways - I had to enlist my husband for this because I'm a bit of a technophobe - but he did it for me in seconds.I had to buy an adaptor to use it with my ipad but that was the only extra I needed.It looks pretty and appeals to the Magpie in me that likes shiny things. I bought the pink, then the red. I need another now and am eyeing up the purple. If Sonnics would like to sponsor me I'll happily accept one 😜

All good, working straight after unpacking, speed, performance etc is great for that money

Works fine but the computer identifies at as a hard drive not an SSD
It works well, but I'm not sure if it really is an SSD, I don't want to take the enclosure apart for a good look, but my PC identifies it as a Hard Disk Drive not an SSD, if that's the I could have had a bigger one with more storage for less money. If it's wrongly identified by my PC then I'm otherwise happy, hence 3 stars. If I could be sure that this was an SSD then I'd give it 5 stars.When I use my disk tools, to optimise and defrag etc, my pc identifies it as a hard disk drive and attempts to defrag when it should trim if an SSD. Hence my doubts.

So far so good!
I was slightly concerned because of the price and some reviews, but I'm happy with my purchase, it does what it says on the tin storing all my pictures, videos and music with still lots of room. So far so good.
