Works very well!
After reading some negative reviews, I was hesitant about ordering the motor pigtails. We have some ornaments that we always put on the pigtails, however, and our old ones were finally worn out. So I ordered these. I was pleasantly surprised.

Don't always fit in the regular christmas lights!
Could not get them to fit in the regular christmas lights! Finally just gave up very disappointed! Bought and used this product last year and loved the way it made the tree look when the sparkly ornaments twirled. Can't figure out what went wrong this year., even used the same string of lights as last year!!

Sad and disappointed
I'm really disappointed. I can hear the motor but only one out of four actually spins :-(

Adds a little extra wonder to Christmas
I wanted these for years but delayed buying them because of the bad reviews. I finally bought them and followed the advice of another reviewer by carefully oiling them prior to use. I think I used sewing machine oil or toy train oil or something light like that. All four spinners worked perfectly all season long! When not in use, I wrap them in a soft cloth and put them in a tiny box so they don't get jostled around too much. As mentioned by others, the hooks are tiny so I used short pieces of fishing line to attach the ornaments to the hooks.Take a chance on these, I don't think you'll regret it.

Not Worth The Hype
I am crazy when it comes to decorating for Christmas. I really loved the thought of adding spinning ornaments to my Christmas Tree. After scouring the web for an ornament spinner, I came across these Kurt Adler Twirl-It Motor Pigtails. The price was a bit steep but that didn't stop me from purchasing because I had high hopes that they would be what I envisioned. When they arrived the packaging and everything looked brand new. When plugging them into the light socket (NOTE: Not LED friendly) they did spin as advertised. However, as soon as you hang an ornament on them they stop spinning entirely. You can still hear the moto trying to spin but the power to twirl the ornament is lacking.I thought that maybe the ornament was too heavy, so I selected the smaller plastic ornament to hang from the spinner. once again....No luck.I thought maybe the light socket wasn't plugged in all the way or maybe the light strand just didn't have enough power running through. After multiple trial runs and testing, it is safe to say these DO NOT WORK.I am very sad they didn't work because they would have been lovely on my tree.
