Tainted: Torn Series #3 (The Torn Series) Paperback – January 6, 2014

Once I finished Twisted I had to start reading Tainted. I had to know what was going on with Drake during those 6 months he was gone, and what happens next for Chloe and Drake. This story was broken up into 3 parts, the fist part which is told in Drake's POV and is the 6 months after Chloe left him until they reunited, the second part is told in Chloe's POV and takes place 3 months after the ending of Tainted, and the third part is told back in Drakes POV and happens 9 months after the epilogue of Twisted.As much as I loved parts one and two of this book, I really wish part 3 would have been a little longer. I was dying to know more of what happened after the epilogue of Twisted and I felt what we got wasn't as much as I would have liked.As much as I sometimes hated Drake in Twisted, after reading Tainted, and seeing things from his POV I still was not happy with him, but my heart truly broke for him at times. Seeing everything he did and what he went through, before he finally broke, was heartbreaking. I loved his time in rehab, and getting to see him come back to his old self, and doing what he needed to do to get Chloe back.I loved part 2 when we pick up 3 months after the proposal. Chloe is ready to move to California to start her life with Drake, and I loved the road trip he took her on. I think this really brought the two of them closer than they have ever been, and reading the way their relationship had changed, and how they were more open with each other was awesome. I really love these two characters, and from book 1 you know they are meant to be together.Part three of this book, like I said previously, I felt was too short, I would have loved to get more of what happens next, but hopefully we will see more of Chloe and Drake and Logan's book coming out this year. Maybe some more insight into what happens after the hospital?This book I believe was a perfect ending to Chloe and Drake's story. They are one of my favorite book couples, and even though my heart broke more times than I care to admit reading this series, it is definitely one that everyone should read. Relationships take work, and the Torn Series definitely proves this in the stories that are told. I am looking forward to more of these characters, even if we'll be getting Logan next and not more Chloe and Drake.The Torn Series is one that should be added to everyone's TBR list. It is amazingly written, and has a story that will capture you and not let you go. Heck, I read all three books in 2 days! I couldn't put these books down, or let these characters go. I believe I will be in a book hang over for a while after finishing this series.

This was just what I needed to calm my nerves about there being no more Chloe and Drake after Twisted !!I cannot even begin to explain how fulfilling this story was for me.I love all things Twisted but the time gaps and Drake being out of the story for 6 months just drove me crazy , in a good way but still...As much as I imagined Chloe suffering without Drake it really was nothing compared to what he went through before and during his rehab. The way it was written was great , I felt his pain and I really did want to wrap him up and cuddle him. To think of him as a 10 year old losing his parents was heart wrenching and more so knowing that he never really dealt with it brings more of an understanding to him as a person. He may be a cocky rock star but he just wants to be needed and loved and because he hadn't had that in so long he became addicted to anything that made him feel good.I loved the road trip and thought it was such a great way to let them get back to where they needed to be. They were able to be with each other and talk and enjoy one another without the weight of the world. Again reading about Drake trying to deal with his parents death was very real and again brought tears to my eyes. It was great to see him come full circle , not completely healed but on the right track and knowing what to do for himself. Despite knowing how it would end I was still captivated by the details and wanting to know every little thing that led up to the end of Twisted.So glad we got some more hot sex with Chloe and Drake !!Loved the 7 years later section , without any spoilers it was classic maybe even predictable but it just totally fit the story of Chloe and Drake !!As much as I will miss them I am so thrilled with their ending !Cannot wait for Logan's storyAnd of course would love some Amber and Adam !!

I love Drake he will always be one of my all time favourite book boyfriends. Ok so Tainted is the third book in the Torn series by K.A Robinson. Torn is the first book where we get to meet Chloe and Drake, Chloe is a young girl who is starting college with her two best friends Logan and Amber. She hasnt had the easiest life with her mother but how bad starts to come clear as you read the series. Drake is a typical bad boy with piercings and tattoos. He plays in a band called Breaking the hunger and he also comes across as a man who won't take no for an answer. But he is also so sweet and tender and always seems to be there for his friends. Twisted is the second book in the series, this follows on exactly where Torn finishes. Now I cant say much about this book as it will give away too many spoilers for Torn. But I can say towards the end after everything happens it jumps forward six months and then the epilogue jumps over to 5 years later. I also think its the best in the series. Right now on to Tainted,  this is where it could get confusing but bear with me please. Tainted starts off with Drakes POV for near the end of Twisted,  it also tells you what happened for Drake in the six months that was passed over in Twisted. After that it does give quite a bit of what was passed over in the 5 years. Are you all still with me? Good now the important part, the sex scenes. Considering this book is based around college kids they sure as hell know what they are doing its fan yourself several times hot. The stories are all so well written and plotted out so they all come together at the end. All questions that you may have are answered in time, you just have to read the full series, also we always thought there would just be the two books, but there was such an outcry for more that the author brought out Tainted which is why so much time passes for the epilogue of Twisted. Its got to be 5 stars for this series, an absolute pleasure to read.

This book was so amazing I could not put it down. I loved every minute of it and only wished that it didn't have to end. I can't wait to continue with Logan's story but I would definitely recommend this book having read the other two first

I really enjoyed the Torn series of books and this just finished the books of nicely would defo recommend to my friends. It was good to get the story from the points of view from drake and Chloe

This book was a total surprise as I thought Chloe and Drakes story had ended in book two.It was wonderful to read what happened during Drakes struggle with his addiction. K A Robinson has written a beautiful story about Chloe and Drake that makes you love them.This extra book in the series lets you into Drakes head a bit more and shows you why he has made the decisions he made.I will miss these guys but look forward to Logan's story
