Whew, my fingers are getting tired from all these reviews for those double ended hook thingies, but I think I'm finally down to the last one. My apologies in advance to my family for having day late Christmas gifts this year. By the time I got done with all these reviews, I had to rest my poor hands for a day. However, I'm sure you'll all enjoy the fantastic Christmas ideas I came up with for each of you. You'll love your gifts so much that you won't even want to put my name in the hat next year, but that's okay because I'll just take that as a hint that each of you want to enjoy the fruits of my labors next year. Uncle Bill, you might have to roll one sweater sleeve up so no one will notice that it is longer than the other one. Cousin Em, you're the best seamstress that I know, so I'm sure you can cut some off one leg of baby Jill's pants and sew it to the other leg. That will even them up a bit. Grandma's dog looks funny anyway, so the lopsided coat won't even show, besides it could be the start of a new doggie fashion - you never know. The rest of you - just ignore the laughing people around you. They really are laughing at an inside joke. The important thing is that these hooks really do work great. Not same product as advertised. I ordered the size H hook double ended Boye brand hook and that is clearly not what I received. The brand is different and there is only a hook on one side. The J hook reviews should have tipped me off that I should expect the same thing with the H hook.

Wasn't what I expected

I've been looking in craft stores for one of these for months, and no one seems to carry them anymore. This was just what I needed. No complaints or issues whatsoever about the product or shipping. It was delivered in an enormous box that looked more suited to a laptop computer or tablet - definitely a waste of packaging materials, but I guess whatever works...

This Tunisian (or as some people call it, Afghan) hook was well priced and arrived very quickly. I have already put this to good use. I prefer the metal hooks with the small flat end than the wooden ones as they seem easier to slide my yarn over.

Need to wash these before first use as colour can come off, which is not good it working with white or pale yarn. Apart from that no other issues, really good sturdy, smooth hooks.
