Snugg iPad 2 Case - Smart Cover with Kick Stand (Electric Blue Leather) for Apple iPad 2

I purchased the Electric Blue Case for my Teen Son's iPad 2 this past winter. He picked out the color. I picked the features. I needed something that would be durable for possible rugged use, but also "cool enough" for a teen to carry. This fits both requirements. I like it so much, I am considering buying one for myself. What I liked About It: It is very sturdy, well made. I like the fact that the flap of leather that inserts behind the iPad to hold it in place in the frame has a velcro attachment. We have had other iPad cases before, and with this type of design, the leather pocket around the iPad tends to get loose, and the iPad moves around a bit. The velcro in this design prevents this. Another thing I really like is the magnetic sleep wake feature built into the cover. I have finally found one that works like it is suppose to work. In previous cases we have owned, it has been a hit or miss thing. The cover is designed that as soon as you close it, it puts the iPad to sleep. As soon as you open it, the iPad wakes up. And don't worry that the magnets are not strong enough. These magnets are very strong, to the point that I have had to use a little force to get the cover open. But nothing drastic that it is annoying. On the contrary, you can rest assured that your cover will stay closed, and the iPad will stay in sleep mode when you want it to be. My son has no problem with his battery running down because the magnets failed to line up and put the pad in sleep mode. (This has happened a few times on the cover I am currently using). Lastly, both my son and I love the feel of the leather. It it good very quality, feels built to last. We have been using it for a few months now, and it still looks brand new. I'm very pleased with this product. -- Only possible drawback for some is it does give the iPad a little bulk. The case measures about 3/4 inches thick with the iPad 2 in the case.

I purchased this case in Electric Blue, for it's versatility. It certainly lives up to that.I'm very happy with this product. It's well thought out, and very nice-looking.The case fits my iPad 2 very, (pardon the pun) snugly, while leaving the appropriate spaces open for: controls, connections and both cameras.I, mistakenly thought that it had a elastic "diary-like closure. When I discovered that it had a magnetic closure, instead, I was skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised with the tightness of the magnet, while still requiring minimal effort to open.When using the iPad as a tablet (versus watching videos) the flap folds under the iPad. once this is done, there is a grip you can put your free hand (as opposed to your screen-tapping hand) through to securely hold the tablet, while in use.For watching videos, the flap fits into a clip in the middle of the back. This makes the flap fold so there is a flat area at the bottom, to set the tablet on a flat surface. This puts the screen at a great viewing angle, and keeps it from falling over. It does a very good job of this, so you can make the necessary screen taps.You can also turn the whole thing around, so the wide end is at the top, lay it on it's back. This would make for a good typing angle.I have noticed that it DOES NOT put the iPad to sleep when closed. Nor will it wake it up when opened.I am also slightly concerned about the clip on the back becoming limp, and no longer holding the iPad in the viewing position, after many uses. It seems to take a while to return to being flat against the back.

This did not fit my iPad Air 2. It slid around in the case. It would not shut off when I closed the case. I could not use my finger print to open the iPad. The box said it was the right one. Snugg must have changed how they make these. My first one 5 years ago lasted and fit perfectly. This one has the slots cut out wrong as well as being too loose. Unable to adjust Velcro enough to fix it. I returned it and will buy a different brand. Should have read more reviews before I bought it!! XXXIn an edit, I have figured out that there is a iPad 2 as well as an iPad Air 2!!! This was stupid of Apple! However, in response, Amazon errored in showed me both iPad 2 AND iPad Air 2 in the same search! Thanks to Amazon who gave me credit for the first, and I have ordered the correct one now.

I am extremely happy with my new iPad case. The SNUGG holds my iPad 2 perfectly in place. I really like that you have to place the iPad into the case from the inside center and then it velcros it snugly in place. I thought it had a band-type closure but its just magnetic. However, it stays shut great and I have had no problems with it. I also enjoy having the stylus loop at the top. It helps me keep track of my stylus and holds it in place well. I love the way it holds my iPad up high or lays it at a slight angle. This case is much better suited for my needs and I feel like my iPad is much more protected. I have only had my case for maybe two weeks but thus far, highly recommend this case. The price was also great!!

I am not a very picky person, but I know what I like. And after trying four or five other IPad cases over the last three years I have finally found one I like.The Snugg case is a very simple design, yet it accomplishes all that I want it to. The upright stand is easy to use and very stable, so I am not constantly setting it back upright. And when you lay it down it creates a lap desk that works great! I also use the elastric strap for securely carrying my IPad when I am working around my house or office.The case fits the IPad perfectly and the magnetic shut off helps my battery last longer.I would highly recommend the Snugg case to anyone looking for an IPad case that looks good and functions even better!

This is the 3rd Snugg I've purchased for my iPad 2. It's the perfect size. I love that it has the kick stand and comes in a variety of colors. The reason I've purchased 3 is because I've had my iPad 2 for a long time & it's used on a daily basis. I just wore the cover out. I definitely recommend this product.

This is actually the 2nd one I purchased for my iPad, the first being for my wife for Christmas. Previously, we both had the official iPad cases from Apple and both developed the same problem after a year or so; the welds on the plastic seams gave way thus rendering the case useless. Very disappointed with this and trying to find a good quality replacement led me to Snugg. I was not disappointed! The quality of these cases is outstanding, the stitching is of the highest standard and fits the iPad perfectly. The colours are vibrant and fun too.Excellent product and very competetively priced for the quality.***Update...1/04/2016****With regret, I am updating my review. First thing, this item is NOT leather it is PLASTIC, known as UP leather. This information is in the product description, personally I find it very misleading to advertise this product as being made of leather when it is NOT.Secondly, I took my iPad in hand luggage on the plane, the bag was not mishandled but when I took the iPad out, I noticed as couple of chips in the plastic. My wife's has started to do the same. This leads me to conclude that the plastic "Leather" is not very hardwearing at all and is prone to coming off in small chunks.If you want a decent leather (and I mean proper leather from a cow), then buy from Piel Frama direct in Spain, There iPad 2 cases will set you back 135 Euros inclusive post by UPS but they are exquisite, hand made to the highest quality and beautiful leather.

I have been looking for a while for a replacement for my old Tuff Luv case and have wasted quite a bit on some really poor ones but with this one, I think I've finally managed to get it right! It's really well made, lovely to use and a fab colour. It would have got a full five stars, but unfortunately the magnets that keep the case closed interfere with the compass and as I use the Night Sky app a lot it's a wee bit inconvenient. Outside is the one place I don't want to be taking the case off my iPad. However I read another reviewer who took out the magnets so I'll give that a go as other than the magnets this is a great little case.

It has now gone a little softer and not holding the Ipad firmly. I have to keep adjusting the position of the i\Pad so that I can get at the Operation buttons.After my review I must say the suppliers was more than excellent by sending me another Snugg iPad cse to replace the original. Absolutely excellent service and I would recommend anyone to purchase from this company.I will try not to bend and masacre the NEW ONE but I usually have big DIRTY HANDS.Thank you to the company..
