Sidas Ski Boot Bag

Considering cost it exceeded all my expectations was strong durable and saved me a fortune on my flight as it is small enough to take on as hand luggage on a easy jet flight so I didn’t have to pay the £35 each way charge for sports hold luggage

The bag doesn't look very durable when it arrives, but so far has proven to be perfectly good for transporting ski boots. There is no padding or protection to speak of and so I couldn't say how it would manage in the hold, but as hand-luggage it's been fine.

Nicely made, Has a useful pocket for goggles. Good value for money

Great strap and zipped section for taking ski boots on the plane and not having to check them in!

Lightweight and easy to carry around the airport!

As boot bags go this one from Sidas has a slightly more durable fabric than average, but the zips should be tougher. It is large enough to take the biggest Ski Boots with suitable protective padding added (usually more clothes). It is not waterproof.Most of the seams are reinforced, except for those between the two blue flashes and the panel carrying the main zip. It would be much better without the two blue flashes.The carry handle on the back is well sewn in with the usual ‘diagonal cross in a square’ reinforcement.The four feet would have been better off secured to the inner base plate. Unfortunately, these will probably pull out going through airport handling or baggage carousels. They are best removed.The permanently fixed shoulder strap is a liability. It is badly attached with only a single row of stitching at each end, but it’s still strong enough to pull apart the weak plastic zip on the outer pocket immediately below one end. Going through the Heathrow or Gatwick baggage systems will destroy this bag on the first pass if the strap has not been cut off.I was hoping to be able to use this on my next ski trip, but having seen the many ways in which boot bags suffer over the decades, this one just does not quite measure up to the rigours of air travel. It will be fine for normal domestic use.

The media could not be loaded.  This Ski Boot Bag is sturdy and lightweight made of Nylon of a good size to accommodate any size Ski Boots. It's one thing hiring Skis but Boots noway as who wants to wear boots that have been worn by other people? Boots that don't quite match your feet or provide the correct fit with real comfort. This boot bag is both practical and stylish and the shoulder strap makes it easy and comfortable to carry your own boots. I love the Black and Blue design with the white circle and Penguin looking feet? I've never seen Penguins whilst out skiing but the Blue patterns remind me of the different contours, elevations and slopes. The Penguin Feet reminds me of snow and Arctic conditions. This is a great way to carry or store away your Ski Boots. There are also rubber feet to keep the bag slightly elevated once boots are inside making the bag more rigid. You can now go out ready to Ski looking like a pro.

I’ll be honest and say when I seen this bag my immediate thoughts were not of ski holidays but somewhere to store my walking boots for travel. Often they are stuffed in a plastic bag and not the most attractive when staying in hotels etc. The bag is a classic black and blue colour which is very eye catching . It has plenty of room for both mine and my partners boots with a few additional items if required. The carry strap is comfortable with a padded section. The main compartment can be opened from top to slip boots out easily. There is a small side pocket which you could store a few items in separately. The material feels quite sturdy, however, when arrived small thread loose but this could easily be trimmed without affecting material. There are 4 plastic studs on bottom of bag. The bag can with a little difficulty be turned inside out for cleaning. Please note that bag is water resistant not waterproof so will not protect any electrical items in heavier rain or snow.
