Does its job, but avoid with Mayhems dye
Its bright enough to bring out UV colour without being overly bright and flooding the case with Purple. That being said, do NOT use with mayhems coolant dye as it will cause the dye to loose its UV reactivity. This is a known issue but sadly one that cannot be resolved.

Major flaw with an otherwise good product
I'm giving this two out of five stars instead of five, because honestly there is a huge design flaw with these that should really reduce the score down to 1, but it is completely fixable if you are handy with a knife.I got these lights and was very happy with cost, number of LEDs, the decent brightness for the cost and the fittings that came with it including a molex splitter for attaching in a case. But as others have noted they very quickly 'burnt out' and got dimmer and much less UV reactive within a few weeks. Very disappointing and surprising behaviour from LEDs, even cheap ones. After about a year, I eventually got tired of this and replaced it with a more expensive type of strip. When I removed the Phobya strip, I saw obvious brown burn marks on the strip, nearly black. As I know LEDs don't really burn out like this, I suspected that the protective clear rubber coating was actually at fault rather than the LEDs themselves; one quick but fiddly operation with a modelling knife later, I removed the coating off of one LED and underneath the LED was fine - the removed coating was obviously burned by the UV light and is not UV-proof by itself! The photo on my review shows the one LED that 'restored' by cutting away the gel layer, and how it compares to how dull the other lights became while trying to shine through the inappropriate protective coating. If they replaced this clear coating with a UV-proof type, or discarded the coating altogether and attached a rigid backing strip to reduce the fragility of the strip (which is what the gel coating is also for) then this would be a super-easy recommendation. As it stands, I can still recommend it to people that are happy to make the modification themselves, as although not much cheaper than, say, an Nanoxia strip and less bright, this is a longer strip and comes with a molex power splitter, which could be handy if you don't have a spare case fan header to dedicate to this light.

Please read before buying
At first very good bright vibrant But after time the light dims I mean there is litrally no point of even having the strip in there currently as it doesn't even produce hardly and light let alone any UV. The UV is lirally non exsistant after 2-3 weeks

Some times flickers!!!
Brought this to reduce any growth of stuff in my CPU cooling loop, okay and to look pretty to! illuminates the UV dye in the loop fairly well. But it annoyingly and randomly will flicker in blocks of three led sets along the strip, I think this is getting less frequent or I've gotten used to it.
