The rail arrived very well packaged in a cardboard tube. It’s very easy to set up, just rotate the inner rail and it extends (you can hold the rail vertically and let gravity do the work if you need it at full extension). Once it’s close to the correct length, hold the rail in place with one end against the wall and unscrew it until both ends press tightly against the wall. The ends have thick rubber pads that grip the wall very well and once in place the rail feels quite sturdy. The chrome finish is good with no chips so I hope it will last for a long time.

This curtain pole is made of 304 stainless steel tube that is well polished and shiny. This anti-rust curtain pole is designed to fit between two opposite walls, so no screws or fittings are required.The pole is extendable by screwing the smaller pole (inner pole). The inner pole is sit on a strong spring, so it will provide a tension when pressed. There are rubber end caps fitted on both ends of the pole. These rubber caps will provide safe and secure gripping on two opposite walls (under spring tension) when the pole is fitted on a wall distance 3-5cm smaller than the pole length. This curtain pole is suitable for any windows that have a wall to wall distance between 120-210cm range. Apart from being used as a curtain pole, it can also be used as shower curtain pole or a clothes handing bars.

States in description that it goes up to 220cm so I ordered as the gap is 206cm, sadly it fell short, checked instructions and as per image it only works to 170cm,thats half a meter shorter than stated, needed it for Xmas so no time to return, have had to install blocks to compensate for the shortfall.
