So far nothing to dislike. It's the cutest little toaster that does a very good job. It defrosts, will do bagels, has a clean out tray , and comes in several colors to go with your kitchen.

It seems that finding a toaster everyone can agree on is next to impossible, but the Roter Mond is a no frills, straight ahead, functional appliance that looks great and works well. My previous toaster was so light that it would tip forward when you pressed the lever down to toast, and when done, pops up with a bang. The Roter Mond lever glides down and eases up with a quality, precision action. The toasting elements are twice as bright, and all of them glowing, compared to my old toaster where not all sections were engaged in making both sides evenly toasted. The Roter Mond browns efficiently, but you have to get used to the toasting degree nob where up to level 4, not much is happening, so it seems like you are having push the toasting threshold close to its maximum range. I like dense, artisan bread/toast for breakfast (with Moroccan EVO) which takes longer to brown. So far, it ejects before it is to my liking after three days of adjusting, but better that than overtoasted...I prefer to have the discretion for any additional toasting anyway to get it just right...When you switch to a new bread type, make sure to recalibrate the toasting time to avoid scorched toast. A new loaf will toast differently, so you need to adjust accordingly. So far, the Rotor Mond has been the perfect companion for my breakfast ritual with solid functionality and an attractive/quality design. Would definately recommend...

Love that movie!! If you haven't seen it, you must... Anyway, this a TOASTER review, not a movie review! Not sure if it's brave, but it is a mighty toaster! Slots are a nice size! I love the bagel setting, where it toasts just one side! FYI, it heats towards the outside! I use that setting for way more than just bagels, perfect for english muffins, and I love Rye in it for a patty melt! The bread is soft on the outside, inside toasty so the toppings don't make it soggy! Can't believe how much use I've gotten out of a toaster! Haven't had one for a long time! Bonus, the color is spot on from the preview, matches my kitchen perfectly!! The lift function also works perfectly, no fighting or burning myself to remove toast! Heating seems very even and reliable! Stop searching for the perfect toaster, you won't regret buying this one! Well anyway that was a bit lengthy for a toaster review...wow. You'd think I'd work for this company, geez...

Bought it because it was cute. Seems to work fine; feels cheaply made, I doubt it will last very long.

Other toasters have left my toast too dark or too light. With this toaster at a setting of a little over 2, I get perfect toast. And I love the purple color of the toaster. Fits right in with my decor.

Exactly what I wanted and arrived as expected.

Love the style, compact size, toasts bread perfectly but has a fatal design flaw. There's a tiny crevice all around the edge of the top metal plate where it meets the curving black casing that catches tiny crumbs that are very difficult to eliminate. I finally accomplished it with an attachment on my vacuum on maximum. That's a lot of work. We don't use toasted bread/bagels that much so will keep it but would not buy it again.

I previously bought this toaster in red. I had it for 2 or 3 years and I broke it with pop tarts.. I just now purchased the same toaster in green. I love this toaster, great colors and it makes great bagels
