I've tried quite a few protein powders over the years, and Beef XP Clear Whey is one of the easiest to drink. It's light, refreshing, and much closer to a squash or juice-style drink than a thick, milky protein shake. It mixes well with water, dissolves quickly, and doesn't leave any unpleasant lumps. The flavour is enjoyable without being overly sweet, making it easy to drink every day. It's also a great option if you're tired of traditional whey shakes or prefer something that feels lighter after training. Really good taste, loads of flavour. Slightly more bitter than they’re normal protein powder but definitely worth it as you get more and better quality protein with this.

Just finished my tub. Doesn't taste awful. Takes a few minutes to mix properly without lumps. Would buy again at the right price. Be mindful though, the scoop volume is larger than the 1-portion shown on the label.

My partner and I love this. Tastes lovely and a refreshing way to get some extra protein in. I have also converted someone who hardly drinks water to buy it so she is finally getting some hydration plus protein. Cherry and apple flavour is so nice too

The taste is not great. It tastes of beef fat and plastic masked by orange and mango. It’s not the worst but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. You can however have up to 3 servings a day which is uncommon to me as most say one a day. So if you’re after lots of protein this is a good one to give a huge boost (81grams in 3 servings) I don’t think I could stomach three in a day myself though. Another small gripe I have is that the tub is huge and only just above half way full. This seems an excessive use plastic and also makes it take up more space than necessary, it’s currently just sitting on my worktop because the drawer I usually my protein mix in isn’t deep enough.

Tastes as it should, does have a little aftertaste though, I add a dash of orange squash to counter that
